“When it came to finding a good composite deck building contractor near Barrington, I was stumped. We are new to the Barrington & Inverness area and did not know many local deck builders or decking contractors nearby that may be able to help with replacing or repairing my crumbling back deck. We moved into an older home in downtown Barrington that we knew had deck repairs to be done from the initial inspections but soon found out that we needed to replace the entire deck after a more thorough deck inspection was done. “Our garden club hired General Masonry Inc.to replace a stone pillar that was leaning due to problems with the foundation. They took the pillar down, cleaned and re-used the stones, created a new foundation and rebuilt the pillar. It looks great. I was especially impressed with the company and how they worked with the village of Wilmette. Often, obtaining permits and follow up electrical work, which was the village's responsibility, takes time. General Masonry Inc. was on top of the communication among all the involved parties and our pillar had electricity within a few days of its completion.
