The entire process was easy, straightforward, and the project turned out even better than I expected. They answered all of my questions, were easy to work with, and most importantly, did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. Whenever I'm out working in my yard, the neighbors comment on how great it looks, and I've had many cars stop and ask me who did the work. I was so happy with both the process, and the final results, that I had them do my backyard landscaping last spring/summer. I was even MORE pleased with the results! I love it. 1. Their creations/designs are truly imaginative. There is "magical" quality to their work and they have the ability to take a clients vision and create something “uniquely unique”.
2. Professionalism and Craftsmanship from start to finish - they were consistent from the development of the concept to its' execution and eventual completion. Their projects are well-executed and the employees of SOMOS are equally delightful individuals to work with.
3. They are wonderful human beings who are easy to work with, communicate well, and have well-developed ability to create something inspired and visionary.
Be advised - if your looking for someone to throw down sod and plant some bushes, this is likely the wrong outfit for you. If you are a creative individual looking for an original design with an artisans touch, their creative abilities warrant your consideration.

“Good work. Hometown decking stained our concrete deck-which they built. Our cedar deck, and pergolas x2-which they built. Our fence was not built by them but was stained by them. In addition, an office was built in our garage, and interior painting was done in the office and in our home. Quite a big job, done very well.”

“If you are looking for top of the line outdoor living space enhancements, we highly recommend VHS Landscaping. After a major home remodel, it was time to give our entire yard a makeover. Alma Ziu, Landscape Designer, created a fresh, new, outdoor plan which addressed all of our needs (and challenges) including dog issues, trouble spots due to shade or excess sun, drainage issues, drought tolerance and a desire for year-round color. She is a great listener and visionary and added everything we hoped into our plan. VHS Landscaping then swooped in and completed the entire job in less than two weeks inclusive of a brand new irrigation system, stone walkways/hardscaping, a stucco mailbox, new sod, trees, shrubs, fence repairs and more. Chris made some great suggestions along the way which further enhanced the plan. We were amazed at their efficiency, productivity and dependability each day as we watched our yard quickly and thoroughly transform. VHS Owner Chris Verme is professional, passionate, knowledgeable, friendly, was on sight daily to check on things, and has a great relationship with his entire staff. In addition, well after the job completion, Chris still stops by to check on and fix things as needed. He and his staff are committed to 100% satisfaction for every customer..”

“James is very methodical and cares about the quality of his work. He's a jack of all trades. We hired James and his crew to do a bunch of corrective work on the framing of our house that our framer had stuck us with during construction. He also rebuilt and installed our iron front door that had serious manufacturing defects. Additional work was framing and installation of the outdoor motorized screens on our patio, and fabrication and painting of metalwork on the front of the house. We are very pleased with the work and he earns our strong recommendation.”
