“I had my old wooden deck replaced with a much larger one made of Trex, and chose Katz contracting not because they were the lowest cost of any contractor, but because they were the lowest cost of the contractors we thought were the most reputable and professional. It was an excellent decision on our part. The quality of workmanship, co-operation and professionalism from Mark, Percy and their team was exceptional, they always came when they said they would and worked hard all the time they were there. They were very aware that they were working right outside windows and doors when my family was inside and seemed to make an effort to keep their eyes on the job and not look inside the house, which was quite comforting to my wife in particular. I really got to trust and like these guys.
Morris Katz, the owner, had great follow up. I don't have much tolerance for poor customer service and it was great to see a building contractor so customer focused. Having an Engineering background I am quite detail oriented and I like to know exactly what is going to happen before it does, and Morris was great at discussing exactly what I wanted throughout the project and making the result match my expectations. My new deck looks fantastic, and I would have no hesitation at all recommending this company for similar projects.”

“I contacted Steve Relyea with Red Cedar Landscaping to get some advice on planning out a patio project, and he handed me over to his landscape architect, Mike Boice, who did an outstanding job. We wanted a bar, firepit, hot tub area, and general entertainment space with a grill, and some rock walls! Due to our large area and budget, we told him we had to do stamped concrete, but didn't want it to look like a cement jungle or parking lot. He met with us, we showed him the available space, and he came back with an amazing plan that we would have NEVER dreamed of ourselves! He came back countless times to double check measurements, check on progress, and finally to see the final product. It was SO worth getting a drawing done to have everything done right the first time, making sure we had all of the elements, and more! He was a joy to work with, so patient and genuinely interested throughout the whole process. Steve and Mike were very professional and were always available to help with any questions or issues we had throughout the project. I would highly recommend Mike and Red Cedar to anyone doing a yard project! Trish”

“My wife and I built our house in 2015. We had some minor foundation cracks develop. Builder sent his concrete guy out to fill the first crack. Since then after multiple attempts to follow up no response on the other cracks. The other contractor did a very poor job with clean up but least no moisture coming in. After looking elsewhere for assistance and quotes on the remaining cracks, we were lucky enough to get in contact with Trevor who came in to assess for free and quoted/estimated timeframe for the job on the spot. His price was very reasonable and his work was second-to-none. He even cleaned up the previous contractors mess for us.
