“Alex replaced a porch and stairs on my 60s house. He explained what he needed to do, gave me a detailed estimate, began the job exactly when he said he would, and worked on it every day until it was completed. He takes justifiable pride in his his work, uses quality materials, follows the Building Code. He has great design ideas and produces a fine product built to last. His is by far the best carpentry my house has ever seen. He is pleasant and reliable. I feel fortunate to have taken my neighbor's recommendation, and pass on my own recommendation. Thanks, Alex. “How gratuitous meeting Alina, who then took my simple plan of a backyard putting green to a beautiful garden incorporating my passion for golf. Alina was most accommodating to my various design modifications ensuring we got it right before breaking ground. We managed a sunken trampoline, with flat stone retaining wall, to pacify kids back yard hobby, two patio areas appeasing my wife’s desires for afternoon tea in the garden and my passion for golf, including a 20’X40’ putting green, a large sand trap and a well disguised 10x 15 golf hitting cage, all nestled around the large stone pathways and the strategic selections of plants and trees. It truly makes for a wonderful place to play or relax. The detailed design proved invaluable in ensuing contractor did not deviate from the design plan and her continued engagement with contractor ensured all the technical (drainage, soil etc.) and the above ground details were performed as required. Great vision, excellent aesthetic result, hopefully better golf.”

“We are a small apartment complex in Tsawwassen. Needed a roof top deck of 900 square ft replaced in a short time frame. Marc and his crew responded quickly and even though the weather was poor (December) worked to get it done fast but ensured the finished job was excellent. Took great care to frame and lay the Trex so the finished job not only looked great but we are confident it will last and look good well into the future. Crew were polite and considerate. Can thoroughly recommend if you want a quality product.”

“I highly recommend Hyland Landscapes. We had multiple companies provide us with a quote for our backyard renovation and Hyland provided us with the most detailed quote and thorough plan. Their staff was on-time, professional, and very good at communicating during the project to help us get exactly what we envisioned for an end project. We have already recommended them to a few friends and they have followed up twice with us to see how we like the final product and check to see if any additional touch ups are needed. You will not be disappointed with these guys!”

“Blue Bear Landscape Concstruction (Mike Koch) has transformed a problem spot in our garden into a fascinating meditation garden with a contemporary water feature and a careful selection of plants, rocks, and driftwood. This job included the construction of a small rock wall and the installation of feature lights. There is always something blooming yet at the same time it is low maintenance. We are often observing different birds and squirrels that visit the water fountain or the flowers. Mike was pleasant to have around. He is a hardworking fellow who completed the job on time and on budget. We appreciated his design skills to create such an enjoyable tranquil spot. Mike's work does not only look good on the surface, he knows how to build solidly underneath to make things last. We are planning to hire Mike again to re-design our front yard and entrance area. I recommend Mike's work to my friends and family.”

“I highly recommend working with Nick at Jones Outdoor Living. I had him build a pagoda with a gate on my outdoor patio to keep my dog in the patio area and also to finish the outdoor space. It not only looks amazing but is a solid construction. Working with Nick was a dream, he provided some ideas and inspiration but also took my vision into account.”

“Tan, the owner of Westland Design Ltd, is wonderful. He listened and really understood our need. Me dad has alzheimer's and had started wandering. Now with our beautiful enclosed and gated courtyard, he is safe and we are happy. My elderly parents sit and admire the open and interesting space for hours and the birdies come and bathe in our little water feature. If dad were to wake up confused in the night he can sit in his softly illuminated garden and find peace and tranquility. Tan and Doug and Lucas worked so hard to create a work of art for us, we are completely pleased and grateful. I now feel a deep friendship for Tan and hope he and his team and family will always be a part of ours. Which is another fact in his favour, he took me around to many different project sites and all the home owners I met were so pleased with their projects, even after many years. I highly recommend Tan and Westland Design Ltd.”

“I used David Anderson for multiple complex projects. His attitude was extremely businesslike and approachable (as was the crew working for him). He and his crew were on time and often worked late to finish on budget and time. In terms of the quality of work, I was very pleased with the final product, we often called David back to do other projects and consult on design.”
