“Quality Concepts saved summer! They screened in the sides and also under my deck. All the workmen were very professional and respectful. They completed the job to my satisfaction and more in less than 1 day. No mess was left behind, you'd never know they were there. Their workmanship is A+++. They were always happy to answer any questions I had. Now, on a nice summer day I open the door to the deck and just leave it open. It's like I've added another room to my house! My house cats probably love it more than I do. They go out on the deck now without me having to worry about them running away.”

“Last fall/winter, after consulting with a couple of different deck builders and meeting with their respective reps to discuss material choices & estimates, we eventually determined that Blue Chip was the best fit for us. Having reached that decision, we hired them to do a fairly large project for us involving the building of a 500+ sq. ft. two-tiered deck (built using Royal’s Zuri PVC decking) with arched cedar pergola (with metal palm leaf insert) and built-in low-voltage LED lighting, dual Celtic knot inlays, horizontal cable railings, flush-mount & riser LED lighting along with channel-set LED strips in the top rails (for top-down indirect lighting), as well as 170’ of brown P/T shadow-box fencing around the back yard. Trevor designed it all throughout the course of countless emails that went back and forth between the two of us (poor guy – I think I nearly drove him to select another line of work) and was the most exceptional person I’ve ever worked with in this regard. His patience and helpfulness were second to none and the ONLY reason we have our gorgeous deck today is not only because of his excellent eye for design and amazing workmanship but also his unparalleled willingness to communicate and work with me to achieve the best outcome. If you ask Trevor what it was like to work with me he’ll flat-out tell you that it was exhausting (as well he should, because it’s true) but also fun. It was fun for me, too, Trevor. I’m just glad you survived. Once it came time to actually get down to work in the summer, the guys showed up early every morning, before we’d be leaving for our own work, and were still there when we’d get home. They worked hard, did fantastic work, cleaned up daily and left things looking neat when they left, and were always friendly and personable. In was nice to get to know all the crew members who cycled through our yard on different days; they were all great guys who did great work for us. In particular it was great getting to know Ali over the course of the project as I believe he was there every day from start to finish. All in all, we’re EXTREMELY happy with our decision to go with Blue Chip Decks and highly recommend that you give them an opportunity to do for you what they did for us if you’ve got a project that involves designing and building a backyard retreat – small or big. You won’t regret your choice and will no doubt be extremely pleased with the outcome, just as we are. PS. Each year Trevor & Calvin attend an event in the US sponsored by NADRA (North American Deck & Railing Association) in which they, along with deck builders from all over North America, have an opportunity to enter photo submissions of their work in order to compete for titles in various categories pertaining to different cost brackets, materials used, etc. This year’s competition was held in Baltimore* and the guys decided to photograph our deck and enter it in the competition in two different categories, I believe. Long story short, they captured 1st place in each category with the photos they submitted of our deck – a well-deserved honour for them and a real feather in our caps too as the owners (photos visible on Blue Chip’s Instagram page if you’re interested). * Our deck was also featured on CBC news right before the guys left for Baltimore – another honour and fun bit of exposure for both them and us.”
