“We found Chic on the Internet & were allocated Emma as our designer. We hit it off with her straight away & she quickly learnt how to work alongside us. She was very patient & professional & drew on our home & garden to come up with a design suitable for us. She had some good contacts & came up with some good prices for our lounge/staircase/landing project. We had a few blips, mainly with damaged goods arriving via on line buying. We found the ordering & returning of damaged goods the worst part of the whole project. In the main the workforce she employed were very good & although the whole project seemed to take a long time, we are highly satisfied with the end result.”

The colours they use are elegant , subtle and utterly relaxing . Their use of soft luxurious fabrics combined with exquisite items carefully chosen from Europe combined to make our home a wonderful haven . Everything they do is such high quality and it shines out , showing such an innate style which sets them apart from so many others . They were incredibly knowledgable about what is available and how it would work alongside other products and finishes and have the creative insight to come up with ideas and solutions to set the design apart from the rest .
They worked so well listening to my needs and worked to my budget , I was kept informed throughout , they were wonderful to work with and nothing was too much trouble , and they always kept to deadlines .
It was clear from the start that they knew the business so very well and had the experience needed to know what would work in the space available .

“It is no exaggeration to say that Lydia Clarke-Betts has helped to transform the Charles Booth Centre, almost beyond recognition. A beautiful old building with plenty of character that has with over 50 years of neglect slipped to a shadow of its former glory.
Lydia’s eye for colour, attention to detail and understanding of bringing period features to a modern time has given us the wow effect! Not only that, but she is sympathetic to our charitable status, limited funds and multi-use requirements and has bought on a budget, volunteered a huge amount of her own time and taken on a vast project with a cheerful, professional and dedicated attitude and we are incredibly fortunate to have worked with her.
