“I’m a builder and have worked with lots of interior designers. Idle Hands was by far my favorite to work with. They work to give their clients the best look without overcomplicating things. They were responsive to questions, we’re consistently on-site to ensure things went as planned, good communicators, and talented designers. Would highly recommend.”

“Pam and Chelsea exceeded our designer expectations and then some!. They are very talented designers and intuitively knew exactly what would work for our projects. They listened to our wants and needs and comfort zone, as far as fabric and furniture type, and nailed our projects. When the design was presented to us we did not change a thing. We now have a professionally decorated home... which feels like home. That is the ultimate compliment. We highly recommend Keeping Good Company. “Have worked with Ann numerous times over the years. Total professional. Own 2 homes, one in Rye and one in Lake Placid. Ann has outfitted my lodge in LP warmly, beautifully--from leather chairs to sofas to advising the exterior colors--red/green/yellow. She understood I wanted a funky cottage in the woods feel --and it feels like MY home. Ann also did extensive decorating on my more formal home in Rye, from huge window treatments to custom rugs, coordinating paint colors and faux finishes from room to room. I love all the fabrics and Ann spent innumerable hours with me at the D&D building in NYC. Lets not forget the lighting district! Wish I had another project....”

“Lauren was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. My husband and I downsized before moving from Oregon to Vermont. We fully intended to buy all new furniture when we bought our home in South Burlington. I was very happy to find Lauren because with so many changes in our lives I was feeling overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. Lauren has great resources here in Vermont as well Boston (where she use to work). Having a broader range of shopping options is a real asset - providing many possibilities at a variety of price points. Lauren was also very helpful in showing us how we could incorporate many of our existing pieces of furniture into our new home which ultimately saved us a good deal of money. She has great taste, listens and makes meaningful recommendations. Over the time I worked with Lauren I changed my mind a couple times regarding what I wanted and she remained flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend Lauren for any interior design projects - whether big or small.”

Taking what was in my head, Kristen refined it and made suggestions that created spaces and design beyond our expectations. Carefully culled accessories and details make every angle of our home look like "Still life". From help with the interior to designing our outdoor space - this talented designer has taken the "dream" out of our dream home and made it our reality! HIGHLY recommend!”
