“Daniel Martin designed a deck that spanned the back of our house. The deck included planters, seating, multiple levels, lighting and access from the front of the house. I would describe Danny's designs as understated--a cross between Frank Lloyd Wright and the mission style. The deck was designed for heavy entertaining. He was very focused on designing the deck to fit our needs. Danny even considered natural light and the positioning of the sun on the deck throughout the day as well as designing for privacy. Danny was always open to our feedback and we made several adjustments throughout the project. I would definitely recommend Danny and would definitely hire him again He is a true professional and cared deeply about meeting our needs.”

“I hired Leslie to decorate my condo in Florida. I say decorate, but she did so much more. She actually completely redesigned the kitchen and master bath as well as the two other baths. She worked with the contractor on all levels from demolition to reconstruction. Schedule of work included new custom cabinets in kitchen and master bath with granite counters, tile floors, walk-in showers, carpet in bedrooms, custom window treatments throughout, new furniture throughout, all new light fixtures, accessories, etc. Leslie was a joy to work with as she kept me informed of all phases of work through photographs, etc. She allowed me to be as much a part of the process as I wanted. Living 6 hours away did not afford me but a few trips to the site, but because of what I learned of Leslie and her work, as well as her work ethic, I was relieved of any stress of such an undertaking. I would hire Leslie again in an instant.”

She was most helpful guiding me through the daunting task of selecting fabrics and hardware, etc. for custom curtains in my dining, study, kitchen, and family room. Due to her experience she was able to overcome several design challenges such as room layout, furniture placement and how to address some unusual windows. “I met Janet at Ethan Allen as I was looking for a specific piece of furniture for my home. She directed me to the exact piece I wanted and wrote the order. I told her I was working with a designer, but things were not going well at all with her and Janet offered her help if I decided to go in a different direction. After a few more misses with the first designer, I called Janet. I am so glad I did! Janet works efficiently and her follow up is impeccable! I was only working on one room, but with Janet's help it turned into many more rooms! Ethan Allen should thank her as my home is filled with their beautiful furniture. I have a few more projects that she will be helping me with in the future but she is not pushy and understands my time and resources. She has class and sass!!”
