“Donna is, beyond words, the most incredibly talented and downright gifted interior designer around. We purchased a dark, dingy, sad and neglected beach house that we knew had potential. When it came to starting our renovation, we initially thought using an interior designer was extravagant and thought we could do it all ourselves. Easy peasy, right? After some thought though, we decided we didn't want to risk making similar mistakes we'd made with previous properties, both in terms of cost and a hotch-potch, uncohesive result. She got us, she listened (I mean really listened), and she showed us, time and time again, that she has the uncanny ability to interpret her clients' needs and desires when the clients aren't even sure themselves! Is it expensive or over-indulgent to use an interior designer? I'm raising this point because initially we thought it probably was over-indulgent, and thought (wrongly) that it would be expensive.But I'm here to tell you, it's absolutely not!!! The value Donna and her amazing team have given us is honestly beyond measure, both in terms of the finished result (sans costly mistakes) and the value Donna has added to our property. Donna is acutely mindful of your budget and will work within that, so there's no sudden surprises. Now that our renovation is complete we can honestly say we miss the process. Ok, maybe not the inevitable dust and disruption that comes with any major reno but we miss Donna's infectious, fun personality, her incredible ideas, her honesty, her integrity and thoroughness, her ability to co-ordinate every little detail including trades, and the way Donna takes the stress and pressure completely out of the process. I seriously think we need to find another project to keep Donna in our lives! Donna is without a doubt a consummate professional with extraordinary talent. On top of this she is also an absolutely beautiful person.
