“Missy is a color genius--I recently purchased a highly contemporary town house in North Montrose which, as expected, was very stark, edgy and white. Although the majority of my rooms remain this way (by design), I did need to add some interest in certain rooms using color whilst co-ordinating with the remainder of my contemporary furniture. Missy assisted me with color advice and selection in four separate areas: my bedroom, dining room, powder room, and office. In all cases, she spent a significant amount of time with me to understand my personality, and then assisted me with color selection, including gently guiding me (effectively by "giving me permission") to go with my personality and select a more "out there" color than I originally was thinking about. For my personality, she realized that I would feel most comfortable with a funky chocolate brown (one wall in dining area), funky orange (powder room), citriline (office), and a very muted gray/brown (master bedroom and bathroom). I am extremely pleased that she gently guided me in this direction, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. Thank you Missy!”

“We can not see enough positive things about Janet. Before hiring her we had hired three previous designers for the construction of our home. She was the first that we felt was engaged in the home building process. From the start, she was detailed, understood our vision, and communicated her thoughts succinctly to us and the various vendors that were used for the construction. She even assisted us with our builder when they were being unreasonable or needed guidance. She was a pleasure to work with, as she answered texts and emails in a timely manner. Some unique things about Janet is that she has the technical skills of an architect since her father was one for many years and while having impeccable taste she understands when she is assisting in finding that perfect piece of furniture, art etc the price should be taken into account. Furthermore, once the relationship was established she would deftly suggest an alternative when she disagreed with our choice in the most pleasant way that allowed us to trust her in the future. Janet definitely made our house a home that reflects our style. We will continue referring her to our friends without hesitation. If you would like a stylish, caring, and professional designer that leaves her ego behind you could not find anyone better!”

“Mary Blair, my interior decorator is awesome! Her vision and hard work have provided us with the home of our dreams. She started working with us on the construction phase of our new home and followed it through with us as we decorated and furnished it. She met her deadlines and her selections were all "top notch" quality items. When people enter our home they "oooww " and " ahhh" at everything from our exterior and interior stone work to the smaller assessory pieces. I would highly recommend Mary to anyone who is in need of a talented professional. We certainly appreciate her talent and dedication to a "job well done!"”

“Adeline was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable, hard-working and creative. I was 90% done with the purchase of furniture for my living room but hating how it was coming together. Adeline came in and rearranged things and pulled a couple of pieces from another part of my house and voila, I was beginning to love my room. She helped me finish that room and I worked with her on refreshing a couple of more rooms in my house. We purchased some new furniture as well as reupholstered pieces that we already have and we were very pleased with the results. Adeline does a great job with respecting budgets and utilizing pieces that you already own in new ways.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with HTX Design Guy a few times and have continually been impressed by his knowledge and comportment. He is a consummate professional with a keen eye for design. One of our collaborations transformed a few rooms for a newly divorced client needing a fresh start. I was present for preliminary conversations and later involved with the install. HTX Design Guy listened to the client’s needs (including nonverbal cues) and almost effortlessly transformed her rooms into the oasis she desired. Intentional placement and personalization shifted the entire energy of her home. From planning to completion, HTX Design Guy respected her budget with considerate suggestions and flexibility. “Crimson Design did the interiors for my living room and my daughter's bedroom in 2011 and since then has furnished my study this year. Micah and her Staff are very professional and knowledgeable and listen to what you would like done. They then use their expertise to incorporate a lot of what you requested but put their professional touch into the design. I would highly recommend Crimson Design. They are a pleasure to work with.”
