It was great to have an outside objective opinion, and she makes everything so easy by ordering, returning, and arranging all of the appointments & pick ups. “We can not see enough positive things about Janet. Before hiring her we had hired three previous designers for the construction of our home. She was the first that we felt was engaged in the home building process. From the start, she was detailed, understood our vision, and communicated her thoughts succinctly to us and the various vendors that were used for the construction. She even assisted us with our builder when they were being unreasonable or needed guidance. She was a pleasure to work with, as she answered texts and emails in a timely manner. Some unique things about Janet is that she has the technical skills of an architect since her father was one for many years and while having impeccable taste she understands when she is assisting in finding that perfect piece of furniture, art etc the price should be taken into account. Furthermore, once the relationship was established she would deftly suggest an alternative when she disagreed with our choice in the most pleasant way that allowed us to trust her in the future. Janet definitely made our house a home that reflects our style. We will continue referring her to our friends without hesitation. If you would like a stylish, caring, and professional designer that leaves her ego behind you could not find anyone better!”

“Kara and my design team at The Design Firm were excellent. I appreciated all the hard work put in by everyone and I was very impressed by the extent they took to take care of our liking. Even when a few things did not work out, replacing the accessories was no problem. I am so so happy with the end result (especially the large painting). “Adeline was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable, hard-working and creative. I was 90% done with the purchase of furniture for my living room but hating how it was coming together. Adeline came in and rearranged things and pulled a couple of pieces from another part of my house and voila, I was beginning to love my room. She helped me finish that room and I worked with her on refreshing a couple of more rooms in my house. We purchased some new furniture as well as reupholstered pieces that we already have and we were very pleased with the results. Adeline does a great job with respecting budgets and utilizing pieces that you already own in new ways.”

Micah and her Staff are very professional and knowledgeable and listen to what you would like done. “I initially contracted with Minhnuyet to provide interior design services for my living room and breakfast room several months ago, with an estimated budget in place. The rooms have a very unusual floor plan and required real creativity, especially given that she had to use furnishings that I already had. She rearranged my furniture and made two key additional purchases that created a spectacular look, and came in under budget. She located a vendor who is providing uniquely designed solar shades for our large windows to complete the transformation. As a result of the quality of her work, she is now designing a plan for the library, and our bedroom is next. I cannot recommend Minhnuyet highly enough!”
