“Nicky helped our client design their lounge / kitchen diner following wall removals and alterations carried out by us. Nicky provided a great link between us as the contractor and the client. It allowed her design flair to shine within a practical understanding of the implications of all aspects of the works, especially the timing of decision making by the client. “As an artist myself, I’m very particular with my aesthetic style, but I’m also very bad at explaining myself. This was not an issue for Beth. I had a very specific idea of Victoria/ industrial/ minimalist and most importantly on a budget! She took my vision and surpassed anything I could have hoped for! Firstly the artwork she picked was perfect for my taste. Secondly, any random idea I had she sourced and mocked up for me, nothing was too much for her. She was an absolute joy to work with and I am in love with the rooms she has made for me, I will definitely be using her services in the future!”

“Malaika's work is impressive on so many levels. Firstly, her great attention to detail. She 'interviewed me' many times to get a holistic picture of what I liked, how I wanted to use the space, what was important to me and what had been my barriers etc. Her design considered floor to ceiling, corner to corner, taking the time to patiently explain to me how colours and textures work together; how natural and artificial light can be used; But giving me choice and control over all aspects. Then how she presented her ideas, drawings to exact scale, textured samples and costs was really professional and reassuring. Photos on a website can only capture some of the perfect colours and finishing touches. But when you actually sit and use the spaces, only then can you truly get a sensory experience. E.g. the richness of the textures that you can't resist touching; how everywhere you look, you see something beautiful to appreciate and the clever design of effective storage spaces without compromising on the beauty. The quality of materials used such as the cushion covers, seat covers, curtains all beautifully stitched and made to measure is gorgeous. One can't deny her talent! Malaika showed great sensitivity and respect for my emotional needs, my culture and identity, my budget etc. Nothing was too much! I could ask questions freely, she adapted her design many times for my satisfaction and oversaw the transformation from beginning to end. Words can't express how delighted and grateful I am to Malaika for designing and project managing every step of this beautiful rennovation. I live in a safe and a beautiful space that finally fulfills it's potential. It is a dream come true.”

“Sophia took into consideration our own personal taste and style throughout the whole project but gave us the confidence to try new ideas and concepts that we wouldn’t have considered ourselves. Every detail is carefully thought out in Sophias work, especially the practical elements of interior that don’t have to be boring. Nothing was ever too much trouble and Sophia provided reassurance from the first concept ideas right through to completion. We were so delighted with the results!”

“We used Canvas for the full interior design spec for our Apart Hotel in Southampton. We plan to create many locations over the South Coast so getting the branding right was essential. They took the brief and delivered it beyond our expectations. We now have a brand book to roll out across other locations. Our aim was design-led luxury but affordable for everybody. They totally nailed it. Highly recommend!”

“We had three large rooms that we wanted to completely refurbish, but weren’t sure what we wanted to do. Joanna was recommended by another contractor working in the house. She worked with us to help us understand style and flow and she put together plans and mood boards to show us how the rooms could be laid out and how they could look. When we agreed on the general style of the rooms she turned the drawings in to 3D renders so we could see the result and were very comfortable to proceed. She continued to work with us on the project, making us a complete construction pack for the building team with schedules and electrical drawings and smart layouts so that everyone had drawings to work from. Joanna then helped us to buy all our furniture for the project using her trade connections to get us really good prices. We are having a break before starting the next phase and Joanna will work on us with that as soon as we are ready. She offers a great service, we are very glad we found her!”
