“We hired Emme designs to decorate our penthouse and were very pleased with the results.Before proceeding , with her company,Emmy put our minds at ease by preparing a folio, showing us various materials, colour palette and fabric swatches to be used for our project.
Emmy was very professional, communicated well, and was easy to talk to,understanding exactly what we liked…eg. we opted for a minimalist modern decor, for furniture ,T.V. cabinet, study nook etc.She had good contacts, and knew exactly where to source everything from, therefore saving us heaps.
Emmy was very reliable and always kept her appointments on time.

““Working with Katherine from Katherine Charlton Design will be the best decision you make! We recently completed a double-storey extension and a complete home remodel. As I sat on the floor in my lounge room surrounded by samples of tiles, carpet, and hundreds of little paint swatches, I felt overwhelmed by the choices I needed to make. Creating a cohesive look was so important, but my husband and I just didn’t know how to achieve it! A friend recommended that we speak with Katherine and after one consultation, we had a plan for paint type and colours, carpet colour and type, floor tiles, wall tiles, and kitchen backsplash. Katherine listened to us, and really heard what we were aiming for in our overall look. She gave us excellent practical advice, recommending things we had not even thought of! She helped us to organize a recycled timber mantle, which we love! After we moved back into our home, she came over and helped us with interior arranging and placement of art works/pictures. “I found working with Sonja at Studio Stijl a very good experience. Sonja's vision for what could be is far superior than other designers we met with. Her ability to design spaces (especially small spaces) for maximum liveability, functionality and with impeccable design is exceptional. Sonja's foresight for what we needed was exceptional. Things we never thought of in our initial design before engaging her have since become our most favourite aspects of our space.
What I came to really value (beyond her talented design skills) was her really pragmatic, highly responsive, and deep understanding of managing complex projects. She really is a deep expert in this space and it showed in how the project was managed.
We are currently looking at buying a new home for our growing family and will most certainly be engaging Sonja for our next project.”

“We hired Camilla when we bought our 1970s house which needed a major face lift. Camilla was a life saver - she turned the process from daunting to exciting. She had wonderful ideas which fit with our vision and with the integrity of the house. She advised on everything from paint colour, light fittings, kitchen reno, furniture purchases, and also on what to leave and re-use to save us money. One of the best things about Camilla was the support she provided throughout the process. It wasn't just a short consultation, she was always there to provide ongoing advice, to be a sounding board and had an infectious enthusiasm which made the process a dream. She was also very reasonably priced, in fact I would say that anyone contemplating a renovation can't afford not to have a professional like Camilla on the team.”
