“Barbara is absolutely amazing! She partnered with us early on in the construction process and was with us until the end. She does it all - finishes (tile, granite, cabinets, carpet, lighting, paint colors), furniture, lamps, rugs, window treatments, accessory items. She encouraged us to consider items which I would have otherwise been reluctant to try and they turned to to be some of my favorite parts of the home. Overall, her input and guidance with our selections led us to a final product that was better than I could have ever imagined. In addition, besides the result, she is so fun to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed the process. She is kind, patient, hardworking, detailed oriented, and very knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good things about her. “Great sense of design and wide, unexpected connection to materials. We have worked with Katie on two major house projects. Picking paint colors with a spouse can be difficult, let alone a major rehab. Katie was able to help both navigate our design thoughts and material selection for project success. After the first - kitchen, family room, dining, and laundry room project, we knew we chose well with Katie as we didn’t want to change anything two years later. Most impressive, Katie was able to keep with the vibe of the house fitting today’s design seamlessly. (2019 Project under Loutsen Short Lane) Our last project was a master bedroom and 2 bathroom, room re-configurations. Katie’s design helped curate the right contemporary design to match our modern sensibilities while planning for mobility issues that may be in our future.
