“How wonderful to have a decorator who does not provide cookie-cutter designs. She looked at our home, listened to who we are and what we wanted and provided us with choices. From our slate entry to our new floors to the built-ins in the family room to our granite in the kitchen and bathroom, it all ties together to provide a warm, comfortable home. We get so many compliments, I think we may have the design others want to copy.”

“Kerstin worked with us on a bathroom remodel. It was evident from the start that she has a broad base of knowledge in design and construction. We were impressed with how she worked with vendors and contractors, taking control of the project in a professional manner. She understands what the client wants while at the same time offers valuable opinions. Our project was completed without a hitch and we could not be happier. “We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“Laurie Ghielmetti has not only taught me piano (in her earlier life), but has been my interior designer for many years! She has worked with me in a number of homes, and has been terrific across the board. She has a very wide knowledge of a range of designs and knows just where to get things, who provides the best guarantees and service, and then she stands by to make sure everyone comes as and when expected and and is satisfactory to me in my home and in use. She's also a wonderful person to spend time with. And, by the way, her long time sidekick Kelley Matusiak is also terrific!”

“Juliana designed our kitchen in Glen Ellen and it came out beautifully. Right out of the first design we only made a couple of changes and she came back with the second design and it was perfect. She took me shopping and helped me pick out the appliances and tile/granite. We wanted to do it right the first time so we spent money on what counted and Juliana helped us spend less on the items that didn't show as much so we could stay within our budget. Our friends come and all want to know where we found the granite and we tell them Juliana found it for us! I wish we had another house for her to design!”

“We worked with Natalia on a major home remodel -- full kitchen and 3 bathrooms. I was a blank slate and while I knew what I didn't like, I didn't have an exact vision of what I wanted. Natalia was invaluable and made what was an overwhelming process, easy and painless. After meeting with us and asking many questions, she had a feel for our style. When it came time to choose tiles, paint colors, countertops, fixtures, she "went shopping" first and then brought us 2 or 3 options from which to choose, and they were spot on. She has a fabulous eye and we absolutely love our kitchen and bathrooms. We continue to work with her on other household projects. Natalia is a true professional, and fun to work with. I can't say enough great things about her, except I'd hire her again and again!”

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Sindhu. Not only does she have impeccable taste, she is able to find the happy medium between my husband and me (we have very different views on what we want). She understands clients' needs including style and price points. She has been so accommodating with our schedule - she is more than happy to meet with us late in the evenings or the weekends given our hectic work schedules. I would highly recommend Sindhu to anyone who wants a simple room remodel or a huge house construction/re-decoration.”

“Enotive helped us transform our 70s kitchen into an open and airy floor plan. We weren't sure what the best layout for our kitchen, dining, family room space and didn't want to just blindly jump into remodeling without being able to see the area planned out ahead of time. We worked with Jennifer on the project, and she listened to what we wanted in the space and kept our budget in mind. The 3D rendering helped us play with the design and see what we were getting before making any changes. We ended up with a beautifully updated kitchen, very open and bright floor plan. Our favorite element was removing the smaller kitchen window and patio slider to create a large slider that can open up the entire wall. I highly recommend getting Enotive to help you with the design and planning element.”
