“I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to personally work with Jamie Roddy and her design team at EdenLA. At first, my visit to EdenLA was only to get a few things done in the guest room, but after meeting with Jamie at the house and discussing a few other design ideas for other rooms in the house, I decided to re-do the entire house, of course with Jamie’s help. She was phenomenal… from her paying attention to every detail, to listening to what my needs were (and budget), to having a wonderful attitude with no ego. We went through each room in the house, top to bottom, even deciding the colors of paint for the walls. The house could not be more beautiful and finally complete since we moved in 6 years ago. It now feels like a home. Jamie is an extremely gifted, talented interior designer and anyone that hires her will not be disappointed. My experience was amazing from the beginning to the end. “Not only does Ava and Arlene have impeccable design taste. They will handle everything from the idea phase, to hiring the proper General Contractor, subs, over seeing the entire process and being present at the job site during the work. They did everything from A to Z. They made redecorating my home a simple breeze. From providing me my options and giving me the pros and cons of each option with various cost estimates made it easy for me to make a comfortable informed decision on every step of the process. They are extremely flexible with their service. Their contractors are also professional and very neat. They clean up after every job and make the process very convenient. The outcome turned out better than I expected and I am a very satisfied customer.”

“Lisa helped us design our new home, and we are so happy with the results. Lisa is friendly, professional, and has beautiful taste. She presented ideas, and was certainly open to hearing our likes and dislikes. When contractors were present, she managed beautifully. We hired her initially, and she has been working with us off and on now for various projects for three years - She is so capable! She has helped us with everything from paintings to carpets to chandeliers to children's bedroom valences, to designer light fixtures, to outdoor spaces, to exterior and interior paint choices, to curtains, to kitchen tables and tiles. “I have been working with Jennifer from The Old Painted Cottage since 2011. I had been a faithful blog reader (http://theoldpaintedcottage.com/) and admirer of her style for a long time before getting the courage to contact her to see if she would agree to a design consultation to help me revamp my living room. My husband and I had recently moved into a 1960's ranch - that still looked like it was from the 1960s! I was so frustrated with trying to "design" my house on a budget and getting nowhere – I desperately wanted and needed help. I kind of knew what I wanted to do and the styles I admired, but I had no idea whatsoever how to create it on a realistic budget in my own home. I hired Jennifer to teach me how to beautify my living room. And oh boy - I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful it was (and has been since then) to work with Jennifer! After sending her the dimensions of my living area and images of living rooms I loved (many of them here on Houzz), we scheduled and had a phone consultation and OH.MY.GOSH! Jennifer's energy, excitement, ability to translate what I wanted to the redesign of my space - and all within my budget - was incredible! One of the most amazing things about Jennifer is that she patiently taught me many interior design secrets that I never knew but have since been able to apply to my whole home (e.g., hanging drapes higher than the top of the window, displaying décor items in threes, adding pops of complementary color, etc.) Needless to say, it is 2014 and Jennifer has let me hire her to design almost every room in my house! Since 2011, I’ve had two babies and she helped me design both nurseries. Jennifer also helped me revamp my master bedroom, TV room, and the sunroom! Currently, we are doing a whole house consult on a little lake cabin my husband and I recently purchased. Overall, Jennifer is a consummate professional, her fees are ridiculously reasonable, and she is able to “get into a space” and transform it simply by looking at before photos. Jennifer is a gem! I could go on and on about Jennifer…(and I hope to meet her in person one day soon!)”

“Megan redesigned our beach apartment from a 1980's version to a beautiful congruous beach home. The detailing is perfect all the way to the handle selection. The cabinets and reupholstered are top quality. She decorated with existing items and it changed the look completely. We don't live in the area full time so she did the design concept with a few meetings and further correspondence by photos and emails. We trusted her vision and she implemented the design perfectly!”
