“We recently finished a remodel of our mid-century kitchen and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Tony and Dawn are amazing and their eye for design is impeccable...what I was most impressed with was how detailed they were and that they listened to our needs. We wanted a kitchen that looked great but was also functional, and they delivered! My wife and I both work, so it was important to us to know that they were there to handle all the small details and be on site to work with contractors, handymen, etc. No doubt, remodeling a kitchen is stressful but Tony and Dawn were so accommodating and made the project much easier than it would have been otherwise. The final photo shoot was bittersweet -- everything looked amazing but we were a little sad the project was over since working with Tony and Dawn was such a pleasure. I can't recommend them highly enough. Check out the photos of the Chevron marble back splash in the Yelp photo album toward the end and also on their website.”

“I hired Kirsten Pike Design, upon recommendation by the concierge at The Harrison, to completely design and furnish my 30th story apartment overlooking San Francisco as well as San Francisco Bay. Kirsten was involved with every single, minute detail of the design and execution of her incredible vision for my home. She has a perfect balance between being a collaborator and yet be completely in charge…taking all stress away from the property owner. Earlier than mid project, I gave her carte blanche. She knew what I wanted and I trusted her know how 100%: Impeccable taste and finesse...Brilliant even. What a talent! Early in the project, I moved in. I travel a lot and we arranged for her to do the work when I was gone. Everything is now a cohesive whole so the living spaces, kitchen and bathrooms flow together. Amongst so many things, she designed a stunning wall of decorative plaster and a bar that is as lovely as it is practical. My space is a jewel box where nothing is left to coincide. Also every delivery was overseen and the small practicalities that a homeowner doesn't want to deal with before, during and after a remodel. When I wasn't pleased with my high end flower delivery service, Kirsten did it personally and once again blew my away. I am just sad that when I come home from my travels there isn’t a new “surprise” waiting for me, as the apartment is perfect! I think any discerning person with high expectations will be very happy with Kirsten Pike Design.”

“If I could give Sandra 1000 stars, I would!!! She is Amazing!!! We had never imagined how fabulous our home could be until Sandra brought the vision and the talent!! The incredible transformation all came together in good time and within budget. Sandra helped us to focus our time, money and energy on the things that truly made a difference in getting our home market-ready and bringing in top dollar. Everyone who saw our home loved it!! We had several offers on our home before it even came on the market. We owe it all to Sandra!! As if that weren't enough, Sandra is the sweetest, most caring person whom we could have ever asked for. She always took the time to hear our input and concerns. With all the stress that goes into selling a home, she always helped to put our minds at ease. “I hired Gamble Interior Design actually through associates that are in San Fransisco CA ,I called Jeni and she came down to Los Angeles to work on my 1927 Tudor revival, I was very interested in finding someone who would stay true to the era while modernizing my home at the same time. ,I was very impressed with her vision of the space and knowledge of the era and am extremely happy with her work! Phase 1 is complete ! Am am excited about starting phase 2 "the Kitchen" (yikes) ,at the end of the month, but I have to say I'm excited to see what inspiration she brings to the table !”

“We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“Cynthia is an experienced and tasteful designer. At our initial meeting, I told her that I liked a minimalist décor style with mid-century modern furniture. She understood what I wanted and, with the little direction I provided, created a design presentation with the elements and finishes I had envisioned. The end result was that my loft style condo was transformed into a brighter and more airy space, with simplicity and understated elegance. The remodel included installation of hardwood and tile flooring, refacing of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and new appliances, furniture, and window treatments. Being extremely organized, Cynthia accommodated my short timeline for visiting the necessary showrooms. She was always respective of my budget, and was open to my ideas but steered me away from the not so good ones. During the design process I emailed her numerous times and she always responded promptly. She was extremely professional and patient when I had second thoughts about things we had discussed, which made for a very comfortable working relationship. I most definitely would like to work with Cynthia again, and highly recommend her.”

“How wonderful to have a decorator who does not provide cookie-cutter designs. She looked at our home, listened to who we are and what we wanted and provided us with choices. From our slate entry to our new floors to the built-ins in the family room to our granite in the kitchen and bathroom, it all ties together to provide a warm, comfortable home. We get so many compliments, I think we may have the design others want to copy.”
