“My family was set to relocate from Ohio to California, and I needed to completely furnish and decorate our recently purchased home from top to bottom before arriving in our new community. “We consulted Marcella to purchase new carpeting for our den and media rooms during the completion of our home remodel. She made it very easy, bringing a dozen or so samples to our home and then helping us narrow the selection, and finally decide on a nice brown striped carpet. I could not have found these carpets in the retail carpet stores or on my own. She came to our house 3 or 4 times. Marcella also suggested we remove a built-in bench in the room which helped widen our space so we could reorient the room. We love our new rooms! The carpet is excellent quality and is wearing well. Marcella steered us toward a choice that adds some character to the rooms but is still neutral enough so it will add to the value of the home.”

And a great eye in that she easily translates what might be abstract goals and ideas for a space into real/concrete decisions as to colors/items/furniture and placement. She helped me set wall colors, make flooring decisions, find lamps, living space layouts, and so many other details (including a really amazing giant 12 foot walnut desk). My kitchen, bedroom, and main living area have all been transformed. She is sensitive and super creative about working within budgets. If you want someone to help with designing just a bit unconventional, but still with a mind for current design, Amanda is the best!”
