As a writer about art and design for more than a decade, I know that my taste is different than most and Melanie completely understands that. She sources pieces that feel like me and creates spaces that are both inviting and interesting, all while sticking to our budget. Working with her is always an incredible and insightful experience from start to finish. So much so that in the past we've done our bedrooms, offices and living room with her, and we're now working on our kitchen and three bathrooms. I cannot wait to see those dreams become reality. “Not only does Ava and Arlene have impeccable design taste. They will handle everything from the idea phase, to hiring the proper General Contractor, subs, over seeing the entire process and being present at the job site during the work. They did everything from A to Z. They made redecorating my home a simple breeze. From providing me my options and giving me the pros and cons of each option with various cost estimates made it easy for me to make a comfortable informed decision on every step of the process. They are extremely flexible with their service. Their contractors are also professional and very neat. They clean up after every job and make the process very convenient. The outcome turned out better than I expected and I am a very satisfied customer.”

“Over the years I have wandered into Grace, but have always been a little intimidated to do any real shopping there - always figured it was too expensive. In search of a new bed worthy of an adult, I bit the bullet and decided to give Grace a try. What a pleasant surprise! Surprise #1 - I got a fantastic new bed, which truth be told was a little expensive. However, on sale it was totally comparable to other pieces I had seen at bigger retailers and the quality was soooo much better. No buyer's remorse here. Surprise #2 - The salesperson was extremely friendly. Not that I expected to be ignored, but the service was way better that what I expected from a high end Brentwood store that typically caters to people willing to spend a lot more money than I did. Surprise #3 - The BEST delivery service I have ever had. The guys were on time and literally wore gloves while they were meticulously setting up the bed. The worst part of the experience is that the list of new furniture I now covet has grown substantially. Time for a bigger house.”

“Emma DeRoche is a dream to work with! She and her Design firm take the time to truly listen and help bring your thoughts, feeling and vibes to fruition. This made a huge impact during our process because I knew what I wanted in terms of tone and ambiance but couldn't always articulate it. Emma dialed in and took the lead while staying true to what I wanted. She is defiantly not a paint by numbers designer, rather a patient, savvy and refreshingly creative soul that will not only help create you space but elevate it in the process.”

“After purchasing our new home we wanted to modernize the house since it was still stuck in the in the 50's. We did not know where to start and after a lot of research we were referred to Spazio La by a friend that did their entire house with them. We didn't know what to expect, after 10 minutes of our first meeting I was in love with their ideas and suggestions to improve the layout and finishes of our new kitchen, master bathroom and guest bathroom. They were very professional and spent almost 4 hours with us showing us their beautiful designs and projects from previous clients. We decided to hire them and we are so happy that we did. They came up with an amazing 3D concept design for each space that we wanted to remodel. They managed the project from the contractor to the finish materials and with the final decoration of the home. Our house looks amazing and our kitchen is, now, huge and has an island to die for. They recommended a Calcutta quartz material that makes the kitchen look like a showpiece from a designer showroom. Our master bathroom is like a high end spa at a five star hotel. We are really thankful to the team from Spazio La for making our home an amazing place for our family.”
