“We worked with Hartley & Hill Design to completely renovate and redesign our kitchen last summer. They were fantastic and we cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. We met with them and described the concepts that we wanted (functional and classic, keeping in mind that we like to entertain, but we have small children and a busy family life). They put together the design and sat down with us to explain their ideas very thoroughly and also run through the budget. They came up with a fantastic design that we never would have thought possible, incorporating very creative ideas, while still keeping in mind our budget as well as our personal preferences. It was a very collaborative process, with us being as involved as we wanted to be, but not feeling like we had to manage a project; they expertly managed the project for us! All of the subcontractors they hired were first class. The renovation was very well organized, there was consistent open communication, any hiccups along the way (as will happen in any project this size) were managed smoothly and effectively. Needless to say, we are thrilled with the end result. We can't wait to use them again soon to redesign our dining room/living room area. We would highly recommend them!”

“Our experience with Caryn Paradis was excellent from start to finish. We had an unfinished basement that we wanted to finish and didn't know where to begin. Caryn talked with us in detail about how we wanted to use our basement and then came up with plans that included all of our needs as well as ideas that we hadn't even considered but should have. She was able to design a space that incorporated areas for everyone in our family, including our young son--even a stage that could be pulled apart for use as couches when he becomes a teenager! Because we live in separate states, Caryn was able to do much of the work remotely with minimal visits to our home to take measurements, etc. She had finish samples sent directly to us quickly and walked us through the decision making process. She designed specific requests, such as a fireplace for my husband and a guest room/office area. Caryn paid attention not only to the aesthetics of the job, but also the practicalities, such as outlet placement and HVAC. She also included amenities such as a well-placed dorm fridge which will come in handy when our son is old enough to use the space as a hang-out with friends. All in all, the job was smooth, well-designed and surprisingly painless. Caryn listened to our needs and then exceeded them. We would recommend her without reservation.”

“We were referred to Jennifer Michael Design by our builder, knowing she came highly recommended. In the throes of construction, my husband and I could not have had more different tastes or hopes for our new home. Hands down, working with Jennifer was the one of the best decisions we ever made. She was able to listen attentively to both of us and translate the ideas into gorgeous and thoughtful designs. Her assistance with visual imagery, sourcing of options, and guidance throughout the design process was more than we could have hoped for. The result of her help is a home that we are proud to call ours. “Having now worked with Kim over the course of several months I cannot say enough of how awesome it has been to work with her. Kim is attentive, detailed, highly professional, flexible, reasonable, and mostly and AMAZING designer!! She started by asking us lots of questions to get an idea of what we liked; styles, colors, etc. From there we moved to wall colors and room color palettes. Lastly, we moved to the furnishings for each room. During each step Kim made sure we were happy with the decisions we made, especially the wall colors. Kim is extremely efficient and helpful. She works with your schedule and always has a plan B! We are beyond thrilled in having chosen to work with Kim! We will be working with her again when we start finishing our basement and I can’t wait!”

Our basement was fit for our family’s specific needs and now it functions exactly the way we had envisioned. “I've worked with Catherine O'Brien on several home projects over the last five years and have always had wonderful experiences. Our most recent and largest scaled project was finishing my basement this past year. Whether designing a powder room, my kids' bedrooms or decorating a pool house, or creating the perfect basement space, Ms. O'Brien is a joy to work with. She's able to take the customer's ideas and make creative suggestions while staying within budget. She's extremely trustworthy and responsible and it's obvious she puts 100% effort into every job she undertakes. Prior to finding Grande Interiors, I had my share of awful experiences with designers. I always felt I was getting ripped-off, and/or pressured into buying furniture that really didn't fit my tastes. I can honestly say that this has never been the case with Ms. O'Brien.
