“Love our beautiful new kitchen. Sarah from Fashion Par was the designer for our kitchen remodel. She was great to work with and did an excellent job of keeping everything organized and on schedule. She demonstrated that she listened closely to our list of priorities and came up with a beautiful functional design. The remodel consisted of a complete tear down and reconfiguration. The owner of Fashion Par, Ken, was frequently on site making sure everything was moving along to our satisfaction, and the carpenter, Rob, is a skilled craftsman who made sure every detail was done with perfection.”

“Mark is extremely professional, an efficient perfectionist in his craft, and as honest as Abe himself! He had great subcontractors where needed and was extremely loyal to local or Iowa businesses for all the cabinets, bathroom/kitchen fixtures, flooring and appliances for my bath and kitchen remodels. And while he makes suggestions for colors and materials, he very much encouraged me to freely make my own decisions as well. Family and friends have given rave reviews on the results. I recently had a friend who was very frustrated with a national chain's "nickel and dimeing" her for a kitchen remodel so I referred her to Mark, and he had her soon taken care of with the same care and high quality results that I had received. I simply can't imagine anyone better to call on for major home projects! And he has a really pleasant personality to boot!”

“From the beginning to the end, working with Katie at Surroundings was a wonderful experience. We completely remodeled our 1956 kitchen, and with the help of the houzz.com website, I knew exactly how I wanted it to look. Katie and her contractor do excellent work. Katie was on top of things every minute and the crew was professional and highly skilled. We hope to do our master bathroom next year, and you can bet Katie is already involved with this project.”
