“Anthony Boyd and crew are the best. Absolutely THE BEST. He is honest and reliable, responsible, competent and careful. I have used him for more than a dozen projects such as construction of complete homes, barn buildings, repairs of all types, remodeling, and even small projects like garage door openers. I never have to worry about checking up on things, being there constantly, or what might go wrong. Anthony is also very knowledgable and capable in so many aspects of his business. “The team from Upscale Kitchen Refinishing did a great job of updating the finish and color of our kitchen cabinets. The cabinets were perfectly sound and usable but were showing signs of aging. The finish applied still let the wood grain show while providing a durable surface that will hold up to regular usage for years. UKR is the most economical way to transform cabinets without having to replace or reface them. We heartily recommend Upscale for quality cabinet refinishing.”

“I worked with Marco last year after I decided to do a complete remodeling of my kitchen, which was last updated in 1991 but still had the original cupboards in place from 1975. Marco was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the remodel, beginning with creating a computerized blueprint to show what the kitchen would look like with the cupboards I selected. He even helped with my appliance purchases, researching the best brands for my budget. Choosing colors, styles, appliances, etc., can be somewhat daunting, but Marco was a great help with all this and was always available to answer my questions, oftentimes even when he wasn’t on the clock. I would highly recommend Marco for any kitchen remodel project. He is very personable and a pleasure to work with. I appreciate all that he did to help me with this remodel.”

Through each phase: estimate, design, choosing finishes, contract signing and commencement of the project, I have been very pleased with their knowledge and professionalism. The project is not finished yet, but all is going very well and I am confident of a excellent out come that we will enjoy for years to come. “We worked with Patricia Dunlop of Fine Kitchens & Baths to redesign our kitchen, laundry & half bath. It was a fabulous experience! Discussions about our wants and desires would spark her thinking and she would offer fun, creative options for us to play with. She listened to what was important to us, balanced it with the reality of our budget constraints and ultimately created the design that our contractor used to drive actual construction. Then she stayed engaged throughout the construction - coming over periodically to interpret drawings, give opinions on structural changes (after all-nothing goes perfectly in a remodel) and even helped us with all those decisions that have to be made around flooring, lighting, counter tops, etc. This was our first remodel and we've heard all the horror stories, but we are actually looking forward to the next project and plan to engage Patricia again.”

“Carter Construction has done multiple projects for us, beginning with a 312 foot addition to our house in 2005. Since then, Noah and Adam Carter have remodeled our kitchen, both bathrooms, repainted the interior of the entire house and overseen installation of wood floors throughout. They have also done small repair jobs like replacing bathroom faucets and damaged external siding. They are perfectionists and consummate craftsman. We trust them totally and often leave town while they are working in our home. We have recommended them to many friends who have engaged them and been highly satisfied with their work.”
