“CCHLD turned my dirt yard into a gravel parking lot and pathway to the front door. They did a beautiful with that. Then they turned my weedy, sloping backyard into a three tired, rock wall, garden. There is a firepit and patio at the bottom. They did everything we talked about, within my budget, and it is beautiful.

“Rob and his team were at my home over the course of two seasons, installing an incredible landscape in both the front and back of my property. It's not often you can say it was a pleasure having a work crew at your house, but my boys, my dog and I all enjoyed having Gilmore Landscape Architecture on site. They are intelligent, kind, respectful, creative and talented individuals. The exterior of my home was completely transformed; Rob's expertise in terrain and site planning was fundamental to creating a stunning final result. He made sense of a plot that was uneven and mostly covered in cracked pavement. It now instead features a kitchen garden, native trees and plantings, a reflecting pond, meditation rock garden, as well as a driveable grass paver driveway and beautiful gabion rock walls with wood bench toppers. --Allison TC”

“Hilarie did a terrific job of design and executing a comprehensive landscape project for our North Shore property. She has an uncanny and unerring eye for what might work in a location and quickly comes up with creative ideas on how fill space. For example, we had an old stone anchor buried in the mud on the side of our property. She recommended placing it upright as the centerpiece in our side garden, where it now stands looking terrific. In addition, one of Hilarie's great strengths is her ability to co-ordinate all aspects of a project so that they mesh into an integrated whole.
She also brings with her an excellent team which is talented, polite, hard working, and reasonably priced. We have continued to use them for ongoing maintenance and they have been great.
Bottom Line- We highly recommend Hilarie. She is creative, professional, and easy to work with.”

“I hired Stephen Bagley and Studio B Design to overhaul the front landscaping of my house. We had woody, overgrown shrubs, an out of date walk way, and no flow to the design. Stephen assessed the area, made recommendations - things we would never would have thought of - and we ended up with a front yard that is beautiful and still in keeping with our nearly 100 year old house. We live on a well traveled street and continually received compliments from neighbors and strangers on the changes we made. Stephen is an artist and a professional. His knowledge of plants, design materials and the natural environment runs deep and is woven into the fabric of what he does. Stephen is smart, reliable, honest and fun to work with.
