“Mrs. Anjali had created a unique design for our front yard. She worked diligently with us every step of this project because we did not know what we want, what would be appropriate for our climate zone and our particular location. She was very patient, understanding and kind. We appreciated that! She explained thoroughly the ins and outs of this project. We were particularly impressed with her knowlege of plants and flowers, it was fun to work with her.
Our front yard has been outgrowing and was not taken care of for years.
Mrs. Anjali turned it into a beautiful shrubs and flower bed. She took out some old bushes and trees, kept our favorite Japanese maple (which one couldn't even see) and incorporated it into her design.
And we loved the choice of shrubs and flowers she made!
One more thing to add --- she managed to stay on budget! She is a very resourceful designer.”

“Nilton and the crew were great. I had switched over a new guy this summer to help to start his business. Nilton was a pure pro when I told. As time went on the new service struggled finding workers and services I needed in May couldn't be done until August.
Curbs to the rescue. I sent Nilton a text on Saturday , he respond with a visit on Monday and a quote on Tuesday. Started work the following Monday and by the end of the week --- I had trimmings removed (a lot) , areas cleared and prep for bed mulching and edging to spread 20 cubic feet of mulch - that's correct 2 truckloads. Couldn't be happier.”

They took the time to understand our tastes and needs, and created detailed site plans They listened to our feedback and worked to create plans that we felt comfortable with, guiding us along the way in a constructive manner. We we signed the dotted line they brought in a large crew with the necessary tools. The plants they furnished were top notch. They took care to plant carefully, clean up every day, and to not damage any of the surroundings. If there was a problem they took case of it. No problem was too small. They then guided us during the critical first year when the landscape developed. They took obvious pride in their work and we ended up with a top notch landscape that gets better every year. Andy was the designer and supervisor of both projects. He was very easy to work with and patient throughout the planning process. He made suggestions but did not force his opinions on us. He was present almost daily throughout the projects.
In addition, the workers arrived on time each morning and came daily until the project was completed. They were respectful of our property and the neighbor’s yard as well. At the end of each day their materials and tools were stored. The workers were personable and had Rutland Nurseries logos on their shirts.
We are extremely happy with the work that was completed and would highly recommend Rutland Nurseries if you are thinking of walkways or patios!”

“No one is better than Blade of Grass. Exceptional vision coupled with practical advice. Our backyard plan morphed from a simple "let's knock off the rotting deck" to a backyard redo replete with blue stone patio, field stone wall, irrigation system, tree removal and many new trees and plantings. The team worked hard under difficult conditions (no access for machinery, giant boulder to dig out), the job was done in a timely manner and the outcome surpassed my very high expectations. Tom and Pete were easy to work with, professional and fun. They listened to what we wanted and guided us on key plantings/trees. When a winter storm caused a tree to list heavily to one side, they came and replanted it - almost a year after the job. I am incredibly happy with our backyard transformation and highly recommend Blade.”
