I saw the book shelf at a local art/craft show and wanted it mailed to me. Working with Christopher was a breeze, the item came packed throughly and he was so nice as to follow up as ask how I was like the piece a few days after it arrived. “In these fraught times when little in the world seems right, I look at the madrone and walnut tables, and counter stools, designed and built by Joey, and think, “These are beautiful works of art that we get to use everyday. How lucky are we to have found Joey!” He created these custom pieces in a matter of weeks, (way faster than we expected), after we visited his workshop to pick the slab of locally sourced madrone. He even told us the spot on Hwy 17 in the Santa Cruz Mtns where the tree once grew. The landowner needed to remove a leaning madrone that had become unstable and called Joey to salvage the wood. After bringing home our two live-edge tables, we decided to ask Joey to build two counter stools in the same madrone and walnut theme. His shop was busier at that time, but he still delivered the finished stools within 8 weeks! I see something awesome in each piece everyday, as the angle of sunlight illuminates a feature in the live edge or polished surfaces of the madrone. Joey had an excellent eye for designing our pieces after listening to what we needed. He clearly takes pride in producing heirloom quality, sustainably sourced, furniture, with beautiful joinery and finished with low VOC products. We are so grateful for Joey’s artistry.”

“I contacted Noriega Furniture a few years ago in search of a Christopher Guy mirror that I found on pinterest. I spoke to Sheena who emailed me all of the information I requested (sizing, cost, colors). Since we were still doing some things to the house, we waited a year before contacting her again; and she still remembered and had our information! Sheena was very gracious and answered our questions about a dozen times before we finally purchased the mirror and the matching console table. With CG pricing, we wanted to make sure that not only it would fit, but that it would match our space and our other décor. Sheena went above and beyond by requesting a color that was not included in the approved colors for it and making it happen for us! We communicated a dozen times through email, measuring, taking pictures of the place and her knowledge was fantastic! I love her suggestions and how in tune she was with our style. Be aware that most CG items take 6-9 months to arrive since they are not mass produced and are only made by order. Even though we were very much aware of this, Sheena still checked in with us from time to time just to make sure we still had peace of mind, etc. Outstanding 5 star service from a 5 star person! I would highly recommend Noriega furniture and working with Sheena. Lastly, our CG items were definitely worth the wait! More amazing than we expected!”
