I say what item I want (for example a bookcase) - we discuss the requirements in terms of practical usage (size and number of books, and the budget), then Tim comes up with ideas and I say which design (or combinations of designs) I prefer. There is usually design tweaking to make sure I am happy. Tim's work is always of the highest quality, and he's a good chap to deal with. His originality and artistic flair means that a visitor would not guess that our several pieces of his work were crafted by the same person.
