“I hired "Kitchen Works" to remodel my Scottsdale, Az. Since my primary home is in NYS and I was doing this remodel long distance, it was important that I have a contractor who was easy to work with and trustworthy. The remodel was extensive. The original tile floors were ripped out and replaced and walls moved to enlarge the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets and bath room vanities were replaced with a high quality line "Kichen Works" represented. Additionally, "Kitchen Works" provided the expertise of a interior designer to assist in making both practical and innovative ideas. It is without hesitation that I recommend "Kitchen Works".”

“We bought are house in 2002 and it had a huge master closet. However it was done in a simple but tired looking fashion and I desperately wanted to really upgrade it in 2014. I took the time to meet and work with 4 different closet companies in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. As you can imagine, this took a lot more time than I originally thought but every friend and neighbor had their own recommendation, so I tried them all. I told each of the closet designers that we liked the way the current closet functioned but wanted it updated. So that was exactly the type of proposal that 3 of the 4 designers came up with, however the 4th one came in with their own design different than what I asked. Initially this surprised me a bit but then she explained why she wanted to suggest changing the current design and how it could be so much more. That took courage for her to go against my initial request but I am so glad that Kathy from Closet Factory did. The design was 10x better than any of the other 3 companies. Even when I gave the other 3 an opportunity to make some changes to their initial proposal, they all came up short and Kathy was the winner with her design by a mile. Then to top it off, on the day of the install the Closet Factory team showed up in several trucks with a crew like a SWAT team, led by the direction of a gentlemen named Braulio. Was I impressed. They showed great care for the house in bringing in the materials, making everything perfect and leaving it in showroom condition. It's rare in this day and age to have such a positive experience but Closet Factory clearly earned an 11 out of a 10 ranking. With the design by Kathy, followed by her delivery on the results of exactly what we discussed, coupled with Braulio's masterful installation, I will gladly do my next closet remodel with Kathy and Closet Factory. I am sure this sounds overly positive as if almost to be made it, but in all my remodel efforts this has been my best experience ever. Bob”

“My wife and I worked with Beth Martinec at Affinity Kitchens on a kitchen remodel we undertook. Affinity Kitchens provides semi-custom and fully custom designs. We choose the full custom, since it didn't add a significant amount to the cost, yet gave us the flexibility to do some unique things that added significant usefullness and value to our kitchen. Beth recommended removing the soffits in our kitchen which are a common feature in southwestern US homes built in the early 1990's. Beth also dramatically changed the shape, orientation and size of the center island. For us, it was somewhat difficult to imagine the final look despite the good renditions Beth provided, but the result is absolutely beautiful -- custom stacked cabinets with ribbed glass doors, built in appliances, and a huge functional island that easily has 4X the storage and counter space of the previous design. Despite this, the kitchen appears larger and more spacious. Everyone who sees it is stunned by the different look and efficient use of space. Most people don't go through too many kitchen remodels and it can be daunting. Beth comes from a family that is in the remodeling business, so she knows design and how it interacts with all of the other things that will be affected such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc. This puts Beth in a rather unique position to tell you exactly what to expect as you move through the design, construction and installation process. Working with Beth is really enjoyable. In addition to being very competent in her job, she communicates well, has a good handle on the project schedule, has an easy sense of humor and is supremely patient when it comes to stumbling blocks (ours were choosing countertop material and backspace tile). Beth doesn't rush people to decisions, instead focusing on providing you with enough options, advise and suggestions to make you comfortable with your decision. I suspect there are stumbling blocks on most projects, so it's especially nice to work with someone with Beth's patience and competence. Beth Martinec at Affinity Kitchens would be a great professional to handle your next remodeling or new construction project.”
