“We love our new kitchen. Carefree Kitchens provided the highest quality cabinets. They have a great show room which gave my husband and me a lot of ideas. They were able to match the color we provided from a paint swatch to perfection. They were also very clever in providing us some extra features inside the cabinet that gave us ample storage space.”

“I had book case/cabinet designed and built by Jed Dinger Company. The cabinet was built from solid wood and plywood arch that had faux finished to make it look like rust steel. The cabinet has thick glass shelves holding by steel cables. His work is an art piece that compliments the arch roof line. Jed is a designer and also cabinet builders so he understand how wood can be made. Above all he is a perfectionist so this says it all about his project!”

We did our first kitchen with him 16 years ago and loved our kitchen so much we gave him a call when it was time to build a new kitchen. Mark and his staff are responsive, thoughtful and creative. The toughest part of the project for us was tearing down our beloved kitchen that he designed so long ago but the pain was eased by our new wonderful, show stopping kitchen. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and his staff for your kitchen regardless of the scope of worked needed... from tight budgets to over the top gourmet... Mark can spin his gold! “Metropolitan Woodworking was recommended to us by a neighbor in our Bethesda condominium. We were taking a fairly small second bedroom and changing it from a bedroom space into an office/guest bedroom. What Dave Scholar immediately understood was the "space" issue. His built-in was exactly the right size to meet our needs and to keep the room as open and spacious as possible. Doug, Dave's craftsman, was wonderful in his workmanship and his courtesy at arriving when scheduled and cleaning up after each appointment. We could not be happier. We now have two neighbors who after our room converted are having their rooms renovated in a similar way. “I first met Susan 10 years ago when I hired Closet Factory to design closets for my soon-to-be-born twins, our master bedroom closet, and our guest closet. Susan made an amazingly efficient use of space in the closet design and was extremely professional. Fast forward 9 years and Susan was back making space in our hall closet for kids' coats, shoes and supplies. She also substantially increased the square footage of our garage by designing shelves that held mounds of shoes and plastic storage totes! Susan is wonderful to work with and has a tremendous sense of what will work with the space she has to work with. I highly recommend Susan and Closet Factory.”
