I have always been a hoarder and had kept literally everything from theatre programmes to bus tickets, Birthday cards and letters to school books, cuddly toys to clothes. What was a huge mountain to climb for me she made seem so easy. It was an extremely emotional process for me but Maria made me realise I didn’t need boxes and boxes of stuff. I have kept the very special items but now have one memory box, rather than 100! I am forever grateful as since moving I have realised all those boxes would have been a total burden and what is the point in moving into a lovely new home and taking all your junk with you only to hide it away?”
