“We hired Rae Packard as our kitchen designer. Her husband, John, is the master cabinet maker and handles the installations of the cabinets and countertops. They are highly experienced professionals and their advice is invaluable. During our meetings, the focus was completely on the project and every detail was worked out from beginning to end. For example, the position and purpose of each cabinet/drawer/appliance/light, etc., is worked out on paper drawings in advance. They have wood/tile/hardware samples on site, which we found helpful as we considered various options. They also have a wealth of contacts (e.g., general contractor, marble places, appliance places, fixtures, etc.) that they have cultivated over time and that they shared with us as needed. All of their referrals were gold. The Packards worked in a timely manner and they responded to all questions and requests. In summary, if we had to do our kitchen all over again, we would call the Packards.”

“Guy, who is the Shelf Shop Guy, provided us with great service when we needed new bookshelves put in on three of the four walls of my study. He gave sage advice about the details of the design and then, after visiting and making detailed measurements, created a much more sensible plan than we ever would have come up with by ourselves. Just a few days after we okayed the design, his installer, Jesse, arrived and put everything up in very little time for a reasonable sum of money. The bookshelves are handsome and take up very little space in my study, which is a small room in a Manhattan apartment. In the next month or two, we'll probably have him back to create a new design for bookshelves elsewhere in the apartment. We've already been receiving raves from friends and casual visitors about how elegant yet utilitarian the shelving is. We recommend Guy and Jesse and the Rakks metal shelving without reservation.”

“I think Bruce and Five star staff are extremely helpful and courteous. Bruce remodeled our kitchen after Hurricane Sandy, his prices are reasonable and he ALWAYS returns your call, which is a positive all by itself, but anything I say about Bruce will not be enough. My husband and I are very pleased with Bruce and our kitchen.”

“In 2013, I purchased kitchen cabinets from Roman with the intention of installing them in our home that was hit by superstorm Sandy and needed complete renovation. While in the process of fixing up the house, we were offered a cash deal to purchase it. We decided to take the offer even though my cabinets had already been delivered to Roman at Think Kitchen. Since we lived with friends and family for the next three months, Roman graciously agreed to hold the cabinets for me even though he was pressed for space. When we finally found a place, Roman came to see if we could retrofit the cabinets to work in the kitchen. He managed, with a sharp eye and a willingness to please his customer to figure out a way for us to use all but one of the cabinets. Everyone who has seen my kitchen admires it and I recommend Roman at Think Kitchen to them for future work. He works with quality manufacturers and provides top shelf (forgive the pun) service.”

“The team at Gothic Cabinet Craft built a custom wall unit for me. It was complete with a built-in bar, glass shelves with lighting from above and cabinets and draws on the bottom. I believe I paid top dollar but got top dollar service and quality. I would certainly use them again and recommend to anyone giving them serious consideration if they want a quality product done right!”
