“When we moved into our “new to us” house we knew right away that we wanted to do some updates to help make it feel like our home.I knew that we would need help because it was a much a larger space than we had ever done before and we didn’t want to make expensive mistakes. We decided to choose Nicole based on reviews, and she did not disappoint!! Our project began in January and went through June, we began talks with Nicole in September, so we had many months worth of conversations and always felt like she listened to us and respected what we wanted. She never pushed us into anything and never made us feel bad if we changed our minds. She is well connected with industry businesses and makes picking things out like light fixtures and tile so much easier! My husband often made the remark that between the time and resources she saved us by helping us narrow down what we wanted, she pays for herself. She always tried really hard to work with our schedule and was very responsive via email and or phone calls, she often reached out to check in and see how we were liking the progress. We had a few bumps along the way (not because of her) and she was quick and professional about helping us find a resolution and making sure we were truly satisfied. I have never paid for design help before, and frankly always thought “I can’t afford it”. However, I am so thankful that we hired Nicole. She saved us time and energy, she saved us from feeling overwhelmed and stressed, and she helped us take who we are and reflect that in our home. Now that we are at the end of our project we can truly say there is not a thing we picked out that we don’t love, and we thank her for that! Hire her!! :)”

Marianne is a phenomenal interior designer....but she is so much more! She provides architectural guidance, and she fully understands (and helped me learn) the relationship between form and function. Marianne's keen eye for detail and unique design ideas are beyond compare. She worked closely with me to understand my vision and preferences; but she also offered her guidance in multiple situations, which in the end, saved me from making some significant (and potentially costly) design mistakes. In addition, Marianne has relationships with multiple tradesmen who provide exceptional work (which removes the worry of finding qualified and competent tradesmen). The statement on her website, "The Eye of a Designer, the Soul of an Artist" could not be more accurate. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Marianne....SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! We ended up with a beautiful bedroom and bathroom, and she also helped me with additional design decisions throughout the house.”

“Because I wanted to keep the quartz countertops and liked the layout, I opted to keep the kitchen cabinet boxes, but have them covered in new birch plywood and install new doors and drawer fronts. Guy also recommended adding trim where the cabinet tops meet the wall, a detail that really looks high-end. Detail Woodworks did an outstanding job! The cabinets look brand new, are "beefy," and it only took one day for installation. I would highly recommend this company.”
