“Nothing but praise for Worthington Architectural Millwork for the design, the craftsmanship, the flexibility, and the bottom line. Alycia Worthington (co-owner) is creative, artistic, and understanding as a designer and project manager, but most importantly, a true professional - an endlessly patient listener when I sometimes waffled around decisions. She presented ideas that clearly illustrated how well she had heard my desires, and still managed to challenge me to think outside the box, to my great benefit and all within budget. Jason Worthington (co-owner) is clearly passionate about his work, with many years of museum quality cabinet-making experience, and impeccably handcrafted the special pieces of wood that transformed my kitchen and my home, leaving no detail unfinished, down to the Shaker walnut pegs. George Creswell brought his building expertise to the project with the movement of walls, doors and windows, all done precisely. Many times I watched them all work in my house and the desire for perfection was evident, the result just gorgeous. If you get a chance to visit their shop, it's amazing - large, clean, inspiring, full of beautiful work - and if you hire them, you will be very happy with the result.”

“We replaced the kitchen cabinet and added a custom island. Justin did an excellent job - design, advise - cabinets, rollers, various door models, colors and stains, offering various solutions, very price conscious and we took advantage of discounts not available for model doors at major retailers like Lowe's and Home Depot. For any questions or clarifications, we received answers (by phone or email) within hours. He brought all the merchandize with his truck at no additional charge, opened all the boxes, reviewed everything - we had a minor issue which he handled ]to our satisfaction, in front of us, with the manufacturer. Kraftmaid products and accessories ordered thru him are of excellent quality, arrived on time and were extremely easy to install. Will hire him again without any hesitation.”

“Very professional, kind, and capable!! I highly recommend Midst of the Storm for anyone looking for help organizing their home. My kitchen was a mess and I thought I had no space - we were considering a remodel. However, today I was shown that we do have plenty of space but I was not utilizing it the way I could. Midst of the Storm was able to organize my kitchen while giving me a better set up for the things I grab the most. Thank you so very much! I can't wait to work on the next room together! “AKB has been amazing to work with on my kitchen, family room, and basement remodel, especially Lucy Brickey. From the conceptual design phase, to the detail design and cabinet fabrication. She is a great designer to work with, and is able to take thoughts, pictures, and components (e.g. painting, etc) to build design around. We also used her to build a secret mirror door for one of our bedrooms. The quality was top notch.”
