“Robbins Contracting built our home in Berthoud, CO as a spec home. We chose to purchase that home because we fell in love with the open floor plan of the main floor- kitchen and living room space. We also loved the vaulted ceilings and beautiful finishes throughout the home. One think I also really loved about that home is the walk in closets in every room. Our master bath was very beautiful and spacious. The wood trim set the home apart from other new homes we saw.”

“We had a very outdated and environmentally unfriendly landscape around the 3acre site of our 1980s southwest run style berm home. Concrete with a very formal ugly brick pattern in front of our south-facing solar energy source, and asphalt paving (UGH!) everywhere else. It made the house hot in summer and ugly. The house also needed an entrance, as there was not an obvious one.
Peter Chivers and his crew put together a plan with us to start to " remediate" the site. Peter's taste and ours I think really fit. He designed a fabulous new southwestern entry, even scrounged around and found a very cool old hand hewn beam for the header.
There's more work to be done with plants and the landscape, and we'll be working with them again next year.
You should know that Peter is a perfectionist and as with the really good people, sometimes things take longer than you think. We didn't push, but if we had I think it would probably be ready for pictures. We'll put some up as soon as we can!”

I have never hired a professional interior designer but I knew I was out of my league and contacted Jen at Motif Design Solutions. Jen has done a wonderful job listening and designing around my priorities and lifestyle. She made sure to incorporate all my favorite photos, accessories and key pieces of furniture into her her beautiful design to create a personal and cohesive room! Jen's recommendation to remove our kitchen table and replace it with a beautiful hickory bar top has transformed our very small kitchen into a functional, unique and livable area large enough to accommodate family and friends. Jen is very responsive and communicates with me during every phase of the design process. She has made sure we stayed within our budget and her pricing structure is set up so I can not only afford her services but I'm also getting the best quality furniture and accessories available. We are still several weeks away from completing the first phase of our remodel and I can't wait to see the finished results and start on the next! “We have worked with Paul and Matt of Original Roots and their crew on several projects. You won't find a more talented, trustworthy, and reliable group of designers/builders. Their mission statement says it all -- they love what they do and the end results demonstrate that. They completely remodeled our master bathroom which now includes a sauna and steam shower along with a number of nifty design ideas. They also improved cabinets and other storage areas in our kitchen. And they are now doing exterior work on our second home in Salida adding a deck, a bridge over the "ditch", and an expansion of our guest quarters. They are an easy group to work with-- they listen well and follow through. In short -- they are the best in our many years of building from ground up and remodeling in Colorado.”
