TLC worked with us after the sale to make sure everything was as we wanted and that we were happy with our purchase (we are!) “Design Alternatives built my new house and did a fantastic job. The project lasted for 18 months and was very detail oriented with some unexpected problems along the way (including discovering our foundation needed to be built over an active spring and running into some complicated drainage work for the property). Design Alternatives made dealing with the problems very easy and they worked great with our architects. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend them.”

“My husband an I built a new waterfront home in Elkton Maryland using Avalon Associates. It was a wonderful and exciting experience. Right from the start we knew that JR was the right builder for us. While looking at samples of his work every homeowner was singing his praises. It speaks volumes when a homeowner is still happy with the builder by the end of the project. Thankfully we can give the same resounding accolades. He was professional and knowledgable with a great group of employees and subs to execute each step of the process. While the project took longer than anticipated we did add a lot of extra details as we went along. JR was always willing to listen to our concerns and do whatever was necessary to accommodate our every wish!”

“Dave Chance remodeled an older home for me and I was extremely pleased with the experience and the outcome. I found him to be very responsive, collaborative and dependable. He knows his craft and told me what I could and couldn't do, not just what I wanted to hear. The result was absolutely gorgeous - he paid great attention to details, like matching complex moulding, and the historical character was intact...just a little better. I would absolutely work with him again.”

“I am in a wheelchair and needed to redesign my kitchen to make it accessible without making it LOOK accessible. Post & Beam (Bill, Scott and Steve) were an incredible help from beginning to end. They helped design it and helped me find appliances that were helpful and contemporary. They were patient with us. We are a busy family with four kids and a husband that travels so we needed time to make our decision, select appliances and yet they never treated us like we were a pain to deal with. I look forward to working with them again very soon.”
