“My wife and I selected Michael Nash from among five separate bids for a considerable renovation and expansion of our home. Michael Nash was the second lowest bidder, but our confidence in Sonny Nazemin’s eye for design and considerable number of award-winning designs was crucial in our initial selection. We have a grand house in Reston built in the late 1960s. It has solid bones but really needed a whole house renovation. We also needed more space to house our extended family. Our project consisted of a new two-car garage, siding, roofing and a totally new floor consisting of a master suite and bathroom. From the start of the project I was impressed with the one price upfront to complete the project. Sonny navigated our plans through the difficult process of approval by our local Design Review Board. His personal attention and negotiation with the board led to the rapid approval of our project. Follow on work for our front porch and driveway was reasonably priced. When we requested a re-design of the ceilings for the master suite, Sonny spared no expense hiring several architects to arrive at the design we desired. His vision throughout the project ensured its success. ******************* EXTRA FOLLOW-ON WORK COMPLETED jANUARY 25, 2014 *********************** We gave Michael Nash extra follow-on work with our kitchen because we were so pleased with how our Master Suite and other work turned out. We told Sonny that we had a limited budget but wanted to get as much of the kitchen done as possible. He suggested that we keep our old cabinets and redo everything else. Sonny has a great eye for design and suggested that we take out some cabinets to open up the room. He helped us with color choices that made the kitchen modern and bright. They replaced the oven, the hood, the induction cooktop, the counter, the floor, the sink, repaired and replaced doors, painted the room and put in a new lighting system with ten canned lights. Michael Nash kept to a timetable except for the hood at the end, which was really unavoidable. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and recommend Michael Nash to our neighbors and friends.”

“Hakan was the project manager for our renovation. Each detail was explained thoroughly. I interviewed several home improvement companies in the northern Virginia area; none matched the knowledge of product information and costs of construction for completely renovating my kitchen. Architectural renditions were exact to specifications;no last-minute changes had to be made. Prior to the beginning of the renovation, costs and date of completion was discussed along with a time line dedicated to the selection of cabinets, floor, tiles, lighting fixtures etc. The crew assigned to my project were courteous, quick, clean and put materials away each day. “We have used Winn Design on two different occasions. The first, in 2007, was a project to replace the exterior doors, windows, and siding of our 1969 ranch house. As part of the project, we added a natural wood portico to the front entrance. More than 5 years later we still have people stop to take pictures and ask us who has done the construction. In 2010 we contracted again with Winn to extend and completely remodel our kitchen. As this was our first experience with a project of this size, the design process was very daunting. However, Winn patiently worked with us over a few months through many revisions until we had a design that fit our needs and budget. During construction we went on vacation and the project manager sent us pictures and summaries on almost a daily basis so that we could keep up with the progress of the project. As the different trades came to the project we were impressed by the quality of the subcontractors Winn used. Several trades mentioned that Winn was one of their favorite companies to work with. “Rendon did our kitchen remodel. It took about two weeks, starting 10/29 and finishing 11/15. It wasn't a full remodel, just a 'facelift'. They painted the countertops, replaced with new hardware, added a new granite countertops, added a new sink/faucet, added moulding to the top of the cabinets, and installed a new tile backsplash. At no time did they make us feel like we were a "small" job. With Rendon, you will get service and quality. They took their jobs, each one of them, very seriously, but they weren't stoic. I was able to speak with them easily and they understood what we needed at every turn, by the end even anticipating what I may want/need before I could voice it. Honestly, I couldn't imagine having a better experience with a contractor. Everything works like it should, and looks fantastic. They've even contacted me since to verify that I am still happy with everything they did. They always cleaned when they left, leaving the kitchen in decently useable condition, as we were of course living there during the work. All of the onsite workers were very courteous at all times and accommodating to our needs. I never felt like they were "in the way". And if I needed something, they were always sure to supply it. They always locked up if I wasn't home, and if I was they would verify that I was there before they left. At every step, there was paperwork. Changes were written up and all charges were clearly stated from the beginning and throughout the process. At no point did I get "sticker shock". Michael was phenomenal at his estimation, so it was so close to the end cost it was almost right on, if I hadn't upgraded some finishes. Karen made sure I stayed on budget and got gorgeous finishes that suited our taste. Joey managed the work without any issues and was there each step of the way explaining the process and assigning the proper tasks. Bottom line, if you choose Rendon, you will NOT be disappointed.”
