Mine was a total renovation and I had ideas of how I wanted my kitchen to look, but did not see a clear path for getting there. I thought we would be stuck with replacing cabinets and appliances in the existing foot print, but she was able to offer different design scenarios that looked great, functioned well and made economic sense. She did a great job of designing the layout and selecting the materials that transformed the space from a rustic feel to a modern, sleek, working kitchen. Throughout the process she did a great job of communicating expectations and schedules clearly, coordinating the various trades and course correcting when necessary. Our story started with a small piece of land – actually, a side-yard to an existing home – and has ended with a beautiful home in the Highlands. Mitch led the charge, every step of the way. “After 15 years of dreaming and speaking with seven contractors over several months, we decided to use Final Touch Construction for a significant remodel of the main floor of our home and have not regretted the decision. My original dream was beyond our budget, but Glen encouraged us to consider options that would incorporate the aspects that were most important. After lengthy conversations, he offered three designs that addressed our budget limitations, included nearly everything that was part of the original vision and, once we made a selection, he was willing to integrate sensible suggestions from us. During construction, we were going to live in the basement with two large dogs so staying on a timeline was a very important measure. Glen estimated 4-5 months and we were moving back upstairs in 4 ½ months! His attention to detail and problem solving skills are on display in our completed home. The result was a fine custom home, with well executed details that was complete "on time and within our budget". We used Bill again to complete unfinished spaces in the home a number of years later.
