“My wife and I purchased a 50 year old Dutch Barn style equestrian property that needed a lot of both aesthetic and functional updating. In my previous neighborhood, I had been watching progress on a total remodel and was impressed by how quickly and efficiently the work was proceeding. Also, the design makeover was notable in how subtle yet remarkable the effect was. So, I introduced myself to Dean and I immediately understood he was no ordinary designer. I hired him on the spot.
Dean and his wife Tina are a great team in that they both have design backgrounds and Dean understands all aspects of construction. Together they came up with solutions to functionally modernize our 50 year old Dutch Barn equestrian property while simultaneously maintaining the style integrity of the house.
Every step of the way, Dean was very consultative and responsive, and provided us with multiple design options to choose from. He would explain the reasons why certain styles would work versus some of the ideas we had which were not necessarily in keeping with the Dutch Barn style. “We used JRP for two fairly large projects. A complete kitchen expansion and remodel two years ago, and recently an exterior makeover with new hardscape and landscape. The kitchen project involved everything from structural design to final decorating touches. Of course we loved the new look so much we expanded into the Family Room for a cohesive makeover. The exterior makeover included new driveway, replacing wood siding with beautiful stone, new windows and doors, and a new landscape design. Working with Justin, Vince, and crew was a pleasure. The crew are skilled, professional, punctual, polite, and neat. Justin and Vince were responsive to emails and texts whenever we had questions. We are very happy with the end result of both projects and had many compliments from friends and neighbors. We will definitely use JRP for future projects.”
