Donelle Giannoni for Ethan Allen Orland Park
This casually dining area doubles as a gallery for the owners art, pottery and textile collections, that we've tried to highlight throughout her home. The painted impact wall gives the appearance of a fading horizon. An interesting mirror placed between the cowboys breaks up the flat space and adds depth.
Notice the extremely thin console table that doubles as a quilt rack.
Textured planked table tops reinforce the somewhat rustic feel of the space.

Maraya Interior Design
This is a real original Greene and Greene, built in the 1920's in Ojai. It was never finished, so the designer created what might have been, with a new, but old looking fireplace surround, built ins and ighting. Green Malibu tile. A compilation of many different traditional style homes, including Cape Cod, Craftsman, English Country, and Cottage Farmhouse. All homes have a style based in history, yet are updated by a bit of modern style and color. Cape Cod style beach homes with massive color, modern craftsman in all white cabinetry and planked floors made with 'wood' porcelain. An English style cottage with exotic colorful interiors, and a Santa Barbara historical craftsman home with modern paintings. Project Locations: Southern California beaches, Carpinteria, Oxnard, Ojai, Rincon Point and Santa Barbara. all designed by Maraya Interior Design. From their beautiful resort town of Ojai, they serve clients in Montecito, Hope Ranch, Malibu, Westlake and Calabasas, across the tri-county areas of Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles, south to Hidden Hills- north through Solvang and more.

This project was a craftsman that needed a renovation. When the homeowners were ready to sell, I helped stage the house. The house presented so well, it sold within 4 days for over $20,000 over the asking price.

The sun streams in from the West into the dining room. This room in particular, needed a woodwork refresh, being exposed to so many UV rays! The wood was faded and worn, and now it looks nourished and rich. Craftsman, Adirondack Style, Seattle, WA, Belltown Design, Photography by Paula McHugh
