Earth Designs Garden and Build London and EssexThe left and rear boundaries are clad with bespoke hardwood timber slatted fences and Perspex panelling. The fencing is painted in a dark grey to create a smart, uniform border and dramatic backdrop to the planting.
Windham BuildersThe exterior is assembled with large slabs, 8’x4’, of 2 ½” thick Spanish limestone and panels of copper fabricated in Germany. The “butterfly” roofs are also copper.
Intrinsic LandscapesThe job was very detailed and involved bluestone paving, aggregate concrete, granite alfresco, brick feature fence, floating seat cladded with bluestone, steel pergola, feature screens, planter boxes, pots, steppers, irrigation, synthetic turf, custom drainage, lighting and of course beautiful plants. Working with a sloping block was challenging however it was levelled precisely and accurately.
Refugia Landscape Design/BuildOur team transformed this once neglected lakefront cottage into a one-of-a-kind sanctuary to be used as a year-round residence. These creative homeowners were craving an outdoor living space that felt naturalistic while still offering the comforts of an upscale retreat. In response, we designed and curated a fully integrated living space including expansive cedar decking with built-in hot tub that appears suspended over the steep meadow-inspired pollinator garden below. Bluestone steps create a sturdy, non-slip walk down and native grasses and drought tolerant perennials offer screening and a natural buffer to activity on the water; delivering color and textural interest for this unique outdoor retreat all year long.

Native Plant ScapesThe Eastern Redbud is an excellent early pollen and nectar source for bees. It also is the larval host for 12 species of moths and butterflies including the Io moth. The seeds are eaten by songbirds and small mammals. Mature trees provide cover for wildlife.
Urbanleaf LandscapesThis is a custom design for the client. They wanted to utilize their space while making the space unique to them.
We created different paths with similar ground cover in each planting area.
A new bench was incorporated into the design as a space for the clients can meditate and be one with their garden.
