Isaman design, Inc.Nestled in the hills of Monte Sereno, this family home is a large Spanish Style residence. Designed around a central axis, views to the native oaks and landscape are highlighted by a large entry door and 20’ wide by 10’ tall glass doors facing the rear patio. Inside, custom decorative trusses connect the living and kitchen spaces. Modern amenities in the large kitchen like the double island add a contemporary touch to an otherwise traditional home. The home opens up to the back of the property where an extensive covered patio is ideal for entertaining, cooking, and living.
Board & VellumThe artful cabinet doors were repurposed from a wardrobe that sat in the original home.
Let's Talk Kitchens & InteriorsThe stylish and function laundry & mudroom space in the Love Shack TV project. This room performs double duties with an area to house coats and shoes with direct access to the outdoor spaces and full laundry facilities. Featuring a custom Slimline Shaker door profile by LTKI painted in Dulux 'Bottle Brush' matt finish perfectly paired with leather cabinet pulls and hooks from MadeMeasure.

Wesley-Wayne Interiors, LLCThis gorgeous laundry room features custom dog housing for our client's beloved pets. With ample counter space, this room is as functional as it is beautiful. The ceiling mounted crystal light fixtures adds an intense amount of glamour in an unexpected area of the house.

Courtney Thomas DesignWe reimagined a closed-off room as a mighty mudroom with a pet spa for the Pasadena Showcase House of Design 2020. It features a dog bath with Japanese tile and a dog-bone drain, storage for the kids’ gear, a dog kennel, a wi-fi enabled washer/dryer, and a steam closet.

Heacock builders inc.the mudroom was even with the first floor and included an interior stairway down to the garage level. Careful consideration was taken into account when laying out the wall and ceiling paneling to make sure all the beads align.
Innovative Design BuildWe redesigned this client’s laundry space so that it now functions as a Mudroom and Laundry. There is a place for everything including drying racks and charging station for this busy family. Now there are smiles when they walk in to this charming bright room because it has ample storage and space to work!

Jamie House DesignIn planning the design we used many existing home features in different ways throughout the home. Shiplap, while currently trendy, was a part of the original home so we saved portions of it to reuse in the new section to marry the old and new. We also reused several phone nooks in various areas, such as near the master bathtub. One of the priorities in planning the design was also to provide family friendly spaces for the young growing family. While neutrals were used throughout we used texture and blues to create flow from the front of the home all the way to the back.
