Noble Johnson ArchitectsKitchenette/Office/ Living space with loft above accessed via a ladder. The bookshelf has an integrated stained wood desk/dining table that can fold up and serves as sculptural artwork when the desk is not in use.
Photography: Gieves Anderson Noble Johnson Architects was honored to partner with Huseby Homes to design a Tiny House which was displayed at Nashville botanical garden, Cheekwood, for two weeks in the spring of 2021. It was then auctioned off to benefit the Swan Ball. Although the Tiny House is only 383 square feet, the vaulted space creates an incredibly inviting volume. Its natural light, high end appliances and luxury lighting create a welcoming space.
Laura Lee HomePreviously used as an office, this space had an awkwardly placed window to the left of the fireplace. By removing the window and building a bookcase to match the existing, the room feels balanced and symmetrical. Panel molding was added (by the homeowner!) and the walls were lacquered a deep navy. Bold modern green lounge chairs and a trio of crystal pendants make this cozy lounge next level. A console with upholstered ottomans keeps cocktails at the ready while adding two additional seats. Cornflower blue drapery frame the french doors and layer another shade of blue. Silk floral pillows have a handpainted quality to them and establish the palette. Hanging the birch tree pieces from chain add a layer of drama to the room.
B Designs Interior'sWhen Shannon initially contacted me, she was a tad nervous. When had been referred to me but i think a little intimidated none the less. The goal was to update the Living room.
Trevor Fulmer DesignJuxtaposing modern silhouettes with traditional coastal textures, this Cape Cod condo strikes the perfect balance. Neutral tones in the common area are accented by pops of orange and yellow. A geometric navy wallcovering in the guest bedroom nods to ocean currents while an unexpected powder room print is sure to catch your eye.
Albert, Righter & Tittmann Architects, Inc.Harbor View is a modern-day interpretation of the shingled vacation houses of its seaside community. The gambrel roof, horizontal, ground-hugging emphasis, and feeling of simplicity, are all part of the character of the place.
While fitting in with local traditions, Harbor View is meant for modern living. The kitchen is a central gathering spot, open to the main combined living/dining room and to the waterside porch. One easily moves between indoors and outdoors.
The house is designed for an active family, a couple with three grown children and a growing number of grandchildren. It is zoned so that the whole family can be there together but retain privacy. Living, dining, kitchen, library, and porch occupy the center of the main floor. One-story wings on each side house two bedrooms and bathrooms apiece, and two more bedrooms and bathrooms and a study occupy the second floor of the central block. The house is mostly one room deep, allowing cross breezes and light from both sides.
The porch, a third of which is screened, is a main dining and living space, with a stone fireplace offering a cozy place to gather on summer evenings.
A barn with a loft provides storage for a car or boat off-season and serves as a big space for projects or parties in summer.
Centre Sky Architecture LtdMountain Peek is a custom residence located within the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana. The layout of the home was heavily influenced by the site. Instead of building up vertically the floor plan reaches out horizontally with slight elevations between different spaces. This allowed for beautiful views from every space and also gave us the ability to play with roof heights for each individual space. Natural stone and rustic wood are accented by steal beams and metal work throughout the home.

Studio FabbriA large wall of storage becomes a reading nook with views on to the garden. The storage wall has pocket doors that open and slide inside for open access to the children's toys in the open-plan living space.
down2earth Interior Design, LLC.The original wood paneling and coffered ceiling in the living room was gorgeous, but the hero of the room was the brass and glass light fixture that the previous owner installed. We created a seating area around it with comfy chairs perfectly placed for conversation. Being eco-minded in our approach, we love to re-use items whenever possible. The nesting tables and pale blue storage cabinet are from our client’s previous home, which we also had the privilege to decorate. We supplemented these existing pieces with a new rug, pillow and throw blanket to infuse the space with personality and link the colors of the room together.
Sara Slade InteriorsIt is a luxury to have two sitting rooms, but with a house with many floors and a family it really helps! This room was designed to have a calmer area for the family to sit together and for this reason we calmed the colours down o give it a softer feel. A large rug in the room and floor to ceiling curtains really elevates the space, whilst taking the textured wallpaper around the room ensures the room feels luxurious and warm.
Ann Lowengart InteriorsWe juxtaposed bold colors and contemporary furnishings with the early twentieth-century interior architecture for this four-level Pacific Heights Edwardian. The home's showpiece is the living room, where the walls received a rich coat of blackened teal blue paint with a high gloss finish, while the high ceiling is painted off-white with violet undertones. Against this dramatic backdrop, we placed a streamlined sofa upholstered in an opulent navy velour and companioned it with a pair of modern lounge chairs covered in raspberry mohair. An artisanal wool and silk rug in indigo, wine, and smoke ties the space together.
Just Go Home DesignA bright and colorful eclectic living space with elements of mid-century design as well as tropical pops and lots of plants. Featuring vintage lighting salvaged from a preserved 1960's home in Palm Springs hanging in front of a custom designed slatted feature wall. Custom art from a local San Diego artist is paired with a signed print from the artist SHAG. The sectional is custom made in an evergreen velvet. Hand painted floating cabinets and bookcases feature tropical wallpaper backing. An art tv displays a variety of curated works throughout the year.
