Browne and Associates Custom LandscapesThis Swim Spa with retractable Nana Walls was designed in 2005 and constructed in 2006 in Castle Pines Village. The clients wanted a swim spa that could be open to the patio during the Summer, but closed off during the cooler months. Nana Walls surround 2 walls of the pool house. Patio is bluestone flagstone with concrete "tiles". Mexican pebbles grout the concrete tiles.

Adrienne DeRosaThe addition of the kitchenette on the rooftop transformed the patio into a fully-functioning entertainment space. The retractable awning provides shade on the hottest days, or it can be opened up to party under the stars.
Welcoming guests into their home is a way of life for the Novogratzes, and in turn was the primary focus of this renovation.
"We like to have a lot people over on the day-to-day as well as holiday family gatherings and parties with our friends", Cortney explains. With both Robert and Cortney hailing from the South; Virginia and Georgia respectively, the couple have it in their blood to open their home those around them. "We always believe that the most important thing in your home is those you share it with", she says, "so we love to keep up our southern hospitality and are constantly welcoming guests into our home."

Where space is generous, we also plant blueberries strawberries, raspberries, lettuces, peppers.
Amber Freda Garden DesignThis roof garden design in Manhattan's West Village features a custom-built wood deck with matching planters made out of ipe, a hardwood with a 30-year life expectancy. We used very thin wood planks on the planter facades for a very contemporary effect. We also planted bamboo on one side to provide some much needed privacy from a neighboring terrace.
