GreenGenUKIn order to protect their heat pump system and to minimalise the visibility of the air source unit, the customer wanted to find a way of covering the external component.
As such, GreenGen were tasked with producing a wooden fence to surround the heat pump unit. This fence prevents any accidental damage but also allows access for maintenance.
Important to consider is an air source heat pumps requirement for space in front and behind the unit. In order for the system to be able to produce heat efficiently, space is needed for air to enter the unit and for it to be dispersed in a manner that won't impact how the system runs.
360 YardwareAn historic estate in the Hamptons, this project called for style-appropriate long-lasting hardware. The arched gates were outfitted with solid bronze gate latches, hinges, and cane bolts. Gates were hung with 4” Solid Bronze Heavy Duty Button Tip Hinges. Solid Bronze 20” Cane Bolts hold the fixed gate in place. The gates had relatively narrow stiles (vertical members) and so the box latch was used. The box latch has a shorter latching arm, which means it can be used on gates with narrow stiles. On the other side is a 5” plate with octagonal handle.
NB: These site photos were taken from an active construction site in the midst of winter. Gates and hardware show rain and dirt.

This new stable was designed to be modern in function but to be the iconic feature at this English village development in the Carolina foothills.
I picked out the large plank Hardy board to be practical for a barn and to fit the scale of the building. The trim on the stall doors was painted a verdigris green to eventually match the patina on the cooper cupola as they age. The custom copper lantern is of English design to fit the theme of an English village.
It is their most prominent feature and their prestige.
