This project not only features a stunning kitchen with veined marble countertops and warm wood cabinets but also integrates natural lighting that enhances every corner of the room.

This renovation embraced a classic design style with a seamless, high-end finish. The cabinetry was crafted in a combination of 2Pac Satin Finish (Dulux Vintage and Resene Triple Malta) and Polytec Woodmatt Notaio Walnut, offering both warmth and sophistication. The benchtops were specified in 40mm Quantum Quartz Argento with an Aris edge, paired with a 20mm Finestone Arana Brown Marble, creating a refined balance of tones and textures. Integrated appliances were selected to achieve the client’s request for a clean, uninterrupted look, while LED strip lighting was routed out beneath the overheads and media unit to add depth and functionality. The cabinetry was finished with bevelgrip and fingerpull openings for a streamlined aesthetic, complemented by soft-close drawer runners, hinges, and an integrated slide-out bin for added convenience. The client’s brief was to achieve a timeless, classic design with fully integrated appliances for a seamless flow throughout the kitchen. Working closely with the interior designer, we managed the entire process directly with the client to ensure their vision was realised. Custom joinery was tailored to the home’s proportions, enhancing both style and functionality. Careful attention to detail during installation ensured flawless finishes and precise alignments. By combining thoughtful design with quality craftsmanship, we delivered a kitchen that is elegant, practical, and built to last.

This kitchen is a wheelchair accessible kitchen designed by Adam Thomas of Design Matters. To ensure comfortable access for every member of the household, the sink area is height-adjustable with front mounted controls, special depth integrated sink and Quooker boiling water tap. The Corian worktop is fully height adjustable and has raised edges on all four sides to contain hot spills and reduce the risk of injury. Note the complete absence of trailing wires and plumbing supplies under worktop height. They are contained in a specially created void behind the modesty panel. In questo progetto d’interni situato a pochi metri dal mare abbiamo deciso di utilizzare uno stile mediterraneo contemporaneo attraverso la scelta di finiture artigianali come i pavimenti in terracotta o le piastrelle fatte a mano. L’uso di materiali naturali e prodotti artigianali si ripetono anche sul arredo scelto per questa casa come i mobili in legno, le decorazioni con oggetti tradizionali, le opere d’arte e le luminarie in ceramica, fatte ‘adhoc’ per questo progetto.

Die Küche: Ein kleiner Raum mit hohem Nutzen Auf relativ wenigen Quadratmetern ist die Küche entstanden. Sie bietet alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt und wurde sogar mit einer kleinen Ess-Ecke ausgestattet. Wie sagt man so schön? Klein, aber oho! Die L-förmige Küche beherbergt nicht nur einen Ofen, den Kühlschrank und einen Herd, sondern auch eine hochmoderne Abzugshaube. Fotos Manuel Strunz

Our lovely customer is an avid baker with three young children. Her previous kitchen, although large, had a very low breakfast bar that wasn't particularly usable or practical for friends and family. There was lots of dead and unused space and the family really wanted a unique space for the children to be included in the new kitchen. Our talented designer Anna created a peninsula in the centre of the kitchen where the children love hanging out while mum is busy in the kitchen. We've created functional storage, with specific areas for baking items, pots and pans, crockery, cooking utensils and oils and spices. The kitchen is fitted with two pantries including a Space Tower (internal drawer system by Blum) and an on bench pantry to house all of the bench top appliances.

Die wohnlich-natürliche Ausstrahlung des Nussbaum-Furniers korrespondiert bestens mit der eleganten Optik des matten High-Tech-Materials Fenix und der beleuchteten Nische in fein-gemasertem Travertindekor. Die deckenhohe Ausführung der Zeile mit extratiefen 56 cm Oberschränken bietet reichlich Stauraum. Aufgegriffen wird das Nussbaumfurnier ebenfalls in dem offenen Wangenregal, das für eine harmonische Verbindung zwischen Küche und Wohnbereich sorgt. Als minimalistischer Kontrast fungiert der Küchenblock aus Fenix in Single Line Optik. Für eine noch gleichmäßigere Frontoptik, beschränkt sich diese Ausführung auf ein horizontales Griffmuldenprofil unter der Arbeitsplatte, über das der erste Schubkasten oder Auszug geöffnet wird. Die darunterliegenden Schubkästen/Auszüge werden mithilfe des mechanischen Schub-/Zug-Öffnungssystem TIP-ON geöffnet. The kitchen as a play of contrasts. The homely and elegant radiation of the veneer in natural walnut-merges perfectly with the elegant look of the matt High-Tech material Fenix and the illuminated recess in finely grained travertine decor. The ceiling-to-floor look of the kitchen block with extra-deep 56 cm wall units ensures lots pf storage space. The walnut veneer is also echoed by the open suport panel shelf which creates an harmonious connection between the kitchen and the living area. The kitchen block made from Fenix with its single line optic serves as a minimalist contrast. In order to ensure a more regular front view, this design features an horizontal grip ledge profile under the worktop used for the opening of the first pull-out or drawer. The drawers and pull-outs underneath open with the mechanical opening system TIP-ON.

Artichoke worked with the renowned interior designer Ilse Crawford to develop the style of this bespoke kitchen in a Grade II listed Regency house. We made two furniture ‘elements’ providing the main functions for the kitchen. Care has been taken not to interfere with the original interior architecture of the room. Tall Georgian windows enable light to flood over the furniture as well as providing delightful views of the grounds. Limited palettes of fine quality materials help create the feeling of an art installation, enhancing the drama of this fabulous room. Primary materials: Bookmatched Statuary marble and hand burnished gloss pigmented lacquer. The kitchen scullery is in English oak, finished in soap, a traditional Georgian period finish.
