UserThe goal of this landscape design and build project was to create a simple patio using peastone with a granite cobble edging. The patio sits adjacent to the residence and is bordered by lawn, vegetable garden beds, and a cairn rock water feature. Designed and built by Skyline Landscapes, LLC.

Maldonado Nursery & LandscapingNatural boulder walls are very common in the Hill Country. Many yards are very sloped and homeowners want to have a level area for lawn space. What better way to make this happen than using what Mother Nature provides?! We dig these boulders up and with a little creativity (plus a big sledge hammer) we build these beautiful natural retaining walls.
Green Tree Garden Design LtdOur client’s garden was bereft of any interest, other than a large shed at the end of the garden, and a small patio outside the house. An unattractive stand of conifers dominated one side of the garden, and overpowered the space.
These two areas were linked using a bold design of interlinking circles, with a cobbled path snaking its’ way down the garden to create a feeling of greater width and depth. A dry stone wall sets off the patio, and frames the entrance into the main part of the garden.
A feature pot is set on a plinth at the bottom end of the garden, where it is visible from the house. The planting is colourful and interesting, with box balls used to reinforce the circular theme. The conifers have been removed and replaced with attractive ornamental trees that will provide more year round interest
My Country Garden Design SolutionsThe brief from the client was to create a pollinator and animal friendly garden around their newly renovated house.
The design included a perennial flower and grass meadow wrapping around the property on one side and a more formal flower border complementing the more formal terrace and seating area.
HideAway ScreensThe homeowner wanted to create an enclosure around their built-in hot tub to add some privacy. The contractor, Husker Decks, designed a privacy wall with alternating materials. The aluminum privacy screen in 'River Rock' mixed with a horizontal wood wall in a rich stain blend to create a privacy wall that blends perfectly into the homeowner's backyard space and style.
