Bob Chatham Custom Home DesignThe home's exterior is designed to be a quiet oasis to overlook the in-ground pool and lake. There are covered porches and balconies that extend across the home's exterior. There is an outdoor kitchen, and tranquil seating areas surrounding the pool on the lower porch. A screened in porch has an outdoor fireplace and comfortable seating. Built by Phillip Vlahos of Destin Custom Home Builders. It was designed by Bob Chatham Custom Home Design and decorated by Allyson Runnels.

Kirson Design GroupThe setting was to create a bar, a greenhouse, on the roof of a supermarket.
The building is designed with reference to the classic barn architecture and its shape with a sloping roof shape, black wooden frame and glazed construction. The terrace is design complemented by a derivative frame of building shapes, which creates a sense of condition on the roof.

Intelligent DesignGreat flow to the outdoors from living spaces not only provide great access between the two spaces, but give the illusion of larger areas that actuality. Large glazing in the external wall visually emphasises the outside space available. Decks that are level with the floor inside also help with the continuity of living areas, rather than a deck that is quite disjointed.
Decks should be positioned for sun, adjacent to living spaces, with as little to detract from any views on offer where possible. Glazed balustrades come in different configurations, but eliminating the top rail will avoid having something solid right at eye level when seated.
