Our Client has such a cute little house. She loves the color blue, the house is light blue with some accents of dark blue and she is very detail oriented so we wanted to make sure whatever landscape plantings we chose for her design, it would compliment her home. This is why we incorporated the Silver Buttonwoods with the Odoratas. These silver colors tie the blues together perfectly, while adding a little "pop" to her garden bed. We complimented the blues with some purples as well and matched them all together for just the right amount of color.
M A Jaworski Landscape Design
This tropical-looking daylily with vivid colours is cast-iron hardy, as well as being drought-tolerant. In the background is a butterfly bush which attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds - birds whose very colourful feathers and rapidly vibrating wings will remind you of beauty of the tropics. Backyard makeover. Building on existing elements (Palm trees) we removed a lot of outgrown and outdated material and freshened up the patio borders with colorful canna's, various bromeliads, Alocasia California, and a fresh layer of mulch and landscape pebbles. Landscape boulders break up the lines and specimen Bromeliads provide touches of interest.
