Nicolock Paving Stones and Retaining Walls
Madoc walling captures the beauty of natural stacked field stone in an easy to build wall block. The authentic appearance of dry laid, natural stone is achieved by reproducing the profiles of a number of stones in a single, easy to handle, "Z" shaped Madoc block. Madoc can be used for garden walls, piers, steps, outdoor kitchens, firepits, seat walls, waterfalls, planters, and raised gardens.

The rear garden was re-designed by Justin Greer as part of the project and was largely implemented by the principal contractor.
It turned-out to be quite a major landscaping exercise, and included the creation of different levels and much-improved connections with the house via new steps and terraces.

In south Seattle, a tiny backyard garden needed a makeover to add usability and create a sitting area for entertaining. Raised garden beds for edible plants provide the transition between the existing deck and new patio below, eliminating the need for a railing. A firepit provides the focal point for the new patio. Angles create drama and direct flow to the steel stairs and gate.

Split rail or post and rail fencing is a great option when you want to add a touch of rustic charm to your yard. We have a system that incorporates long-lasting cedar fencing, durable, attractive galvanized "cage mesh," below ground pest barrier, and raised beds filled with balanced organic soil. Beautiful, protected, and productive--that's our idea of a great garden.
