Dig Your Garden Landscape DesignThe front and back areas surrounding this Eichler home were updated with the mid-century modern design aesthetic in mind. ing grasses, other Mediterranean plants and several succulents. The Front landscape takes on a minimalist design with architectural Barrel Cactus, Artichoke Agaves, stately Thatching Reeds, a Blue Palm (Brahea 'Clara') a Mediterranean Fan Palm and other easy-care plants. The corten steel sculpture offers a striking focal point adjacent to the front doorway.

Native Edge LandscapeThese homeowners were looking to up their hosting game by modernizing their property to create the ultimate entertainment space. A custom outdoor kitchen was added with a top of the line Delta Heat grill and a special nook for a Big Green Egg. Flagstone was added to create asymmetrical walkways throughout the yard that extended into a ring around the fire pit. Four rectangular trellises were added along the fence and shed, with an all metal pergola located at the back of the pool. This unique structure immediately draws the eye and adds a playful, artistic element to the rest of the space. The use of various sized rocks, gravel, and flagstone give a rough texture that creates a symbiosis with the metalwork. Silver Falls Dichondra creates a beautiful contrast to the rocks and can be found all over the property along with various other grasses, ferns, and agave. A large area of gravel rests on the side of the house, giving the client room to park a recreational vehicle. In front, a privacy fence was added along one of the property lines, leading into a drought resistant, eco-friendly section of yard. This fence, coupled with a giant boulder, doubles as a safety precaution in case drivers miss the turn and run into their lawn. This updated landscaping adds an effortless flow for guests to move from the front yard to the back while creating a very open, welcoming feel to all who enter.
Boodle ConceptsGarden design & landscape construction in Melbourne by Boodle Concepts. Project in Reservoir, featuring water-wise Australian native plants, permeable paving. Vertical mesh cladding becomes a growing trellis, the mesh design element is continued with outdoor garden bench seat (industrial gabion style).

Native Edge LandscapeThese homeowners came to us wanting to update their property with new plantings at the street, which matched the existing landscaping of the neighborhood, as well as update the various beds around their foundation. The existing beds throughout the property became overgrown and needed a bit of breathing room to allow space for the new plants to fill in. The old vegetation was ripped out and replaced with both native, and adapted plants.
The wooded area in the backyard was rid of debris, and a drainage system was added using the rocks that were in their previous landscape design. Not only were the materials able to be recycled, they are now used to help prevent continued erosion of the hillside by taking the water from the sloped driveway and giving it a path toward the woods. Limestone was the chosen replacement because it is cohesive with the neighbor’s landscaping and the pre-existing stairs in the backyard. Blocks of limestone were used to line the new beds and build a new fire pit to accessorize the beautiful view!
TruCare Home ImprovementYes! It can be done. You can have a completely SW home and yet still have a contemporary back or front yard. We proved it on this project. We added colored concrete, steel planters, irrigation, lighting, steel cabling, stairs, customer railing, artificial grass, IPE (Brazilian Hardwood), drainage, flower beds etc.
Manuka GardensOur Deakin project’s oversized yellow feature pot has been the talk of the town. Our design brief was to create a Palm Springs inspired, low maintenance garden to compliment their mid-century modern influenced renovation. The addition of the yellow pot was the request of our clients and as you can see it’s a stunning focal point for their front garden.

Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design, Inc.Our client contacted us wanting to create a relatively maintenance free yard that focuses on relaxing family time spent in the sun as opposed to yard work. We designed and built the project utilizing synthetic grass, aggregate bedding and wonderful paving stone patio with a large cedar privacy pergola as the main focal point. Lighting & concrete edging along with step stones finished off this stunning project!!
