Despina DesignTo define the lounge area, this expansive seven meter long wall had to be segment. The media console turns up into an upright storage unit which joins a set of overhead cabinets connected to the corner of the wall. This results in the creation of a Niche for a metal sculpture, still to arrive.

Pinnacle Design & RemodelingTschida Construction and Pro Design Custom Cabinetry joined us for a 4 season sunroom addition with a basement addition to be finished at a later date. We also included a quick laundry/garage entry update with a custom made locker unit and barn door. We incorporated dark stained beams in the vaulted ceiling to match the elements in the barn door and locker wood bench top. We were able to re-use the slider door and reassemble their deck to the addition to save a ton of money.
Transforming RoomsHere was the in progress, before we added chairs and a rug. The two story stacked stone fireplace is stunning next to our oatmeal linen sofa & gray cocktail ottoman. The large oval tray is handy for drinks or snacks. The linen fabrics gave this client the light fresh look they requested. The clients were thrilled that we provide furniture that is ready for immediate delivery - to avoid waiting periods. Notice the weathered gray wood frame at the bottom of the sofa! A unique feature that makes the sofa appealing from the back and side views.

TOPOS Architects, IncThis house for two technology executives and their son takes advantage of a stunning view over the San Francisco Bay and northern Silicon Valley. Floor to ceiling windows open the kitchen and living areas to the curved Ironwood wood deck outside, while painted casement windows present a more restrained face to the street. Vertical cedar siding, pigmented cement plaster and a simple dark roof are punctuated by a deep red vent pipe and entry trellis on the exterior. A subtle curving stairway of floating maple treads leads to the studio and lower bedrooms, while the adjacent main floor office is enclosed by glass. High central clerestory windows flood the interior with daylight.

Susan Yeley HomesLacking confidence after a really rough remodeling experience, this client called SYI first to redesign her master bathroom, after which she asked us to carry its zen into the family room. There, we created a more cohesive and functional furniture plan and filled it in with mostly new pieces and accessories, repurposing some existing furniture and using the rest elsewhere in the house. It's a large room that must comfortably accommodate grandkid sleepovers, frequent group meetings, and a gaggle of aging little dogs, while also being the homeowners' place to relax and wind down in quiet and calming environs. SYI created activity zones, specified easily cleanable and replaceable FLOR carpet tiles that affordably unified those zones, replaced the husband's bulky lazyboy with a more streamlined recliner, and made sure to include layers of light with table and floor lamps, adding warmth and flexibility. We decorated with local art and our own line of custom throw pillows made locally from upcycled fabrics.
